[the TARDIS is standing on the beach the Doctor brought here forever and a day ago, crouching down and staring at the water, a small smile on her face. she tosses rocks into the water, watching it ripple, almost as though it reminds her of something else. she's actually very calm for once and in a generally good mood]

[ooc; The TARDIS has been canon-bumped to after the divergent universe, so she's back in our universe now, yay!]

You seem to be feeling well today.

[I tell myself that all the time, too, but I'm lazy]

I am. I am complete, Doctor.

Complete? Have you returned?

[grins wider] I can feel Time again, Doctor. The emptiness that tore at me in the divergent universe ... it is gone. I am whole. I am myself again.

[beams back, hugging her tightly] Oh, wonderful! That's just brilliant. It must feel-- well, no, I know how it felt. It's incredible.

[holds tight!] It is. I am so much happier here, even with you off running about on a world with strange time fluctuations. But time, Doctor. I ... I cannot adequately describe my happiness.

[pets her] Time fluctuations are better than no time at all, eh?

Oh, indeed. [steps back, still smiling, though her tone is serious] I was beginning to fear I might go mad in that other place, but I have purpose again. I can go when and where I will, with you. It is enough to calm my Heart.

No lingering effects on you, then?

None that I am aware of, no.

Brilliant! Then you're free.

I am. [and just for that -- another hug]

[hugs her] So now where to?

[smiling, because she is smiling]

Good day, then?

[grins up at him aaaand he gets a hug, too] I am home, Doctor. There is time again!

[Bai would be standing a little behind the TARDIS and looking mildly disapproving]

[and the TARDIS would be noticing her presence and turning to consider her] Do you need something?

[Crossed arms] The stones hurt.

In what possible way?

The water, the stones hurt the water.

And how would you know this?

It used to hurt when I was connected to the water properly, I certainly do not think that the water has changed that much.

You are a water creature, then?

[Raises chin] I am Bai Tza, e- queen of Atlantis.

Mmm, Atlantians? I should have known. [sniffs, then goes back to the water, dipping her fingers in] I am the TARDIS.

[Scowls and crosses her arms] And what is that supposed to mean? We are so much nobler then those who walk on land.

It meant nothing. I am simply unsurprised you are Atlantian if you can feel the water. It has been a long time since I met any creature from that doomed city, though.

[Relaxes slightly] Ah, well it was a common trait of my servants too I suppose.

[Scowl] Time did its work...

{CALM? Let's ruin that!} You're awfully cheerful.

[God, Chii, your characters are such whores :/] Yes, I am. Does that bother you?

{I know, I can't help it.} Oh, a little, yes.

Mm~ I'm not sure. I think it's just seeing you happy that bothers me.

{My characters and yours will never get along~} Has something gone well for you? You seem happy.
