Feather 01

[Aziraphale appears on the Plane. He makes a slight face, looking around curiously despite himself] I wonder if this is some sort of trick? I can't really feel any sort of demonic or angelic energy coming from this place, but you never know. I do hope this isn't about Armageddon again; it wasn't troublesome enough avoiding the first time around.

It is a rather beutiful view though, better than anything you see in London. Or Earth for that matter. I suppose I might as well enjoy it while I figure something out.

. . . Oh, now that's just got my curiosity all piqued.

. . . Ah, I see. Working for the other side, sort of thing?

. . . So, what, you're a lowly Angel who averted the Apocalypse? That-- well, it doesn't sound very lowly, to tell you the truth, mate.

[hm, the Doctor is missing the first half of this conversation, he thinks.] I-- see?

-- Sorry, a bit slow. Who's Adam, again?

Just the Antichrist.

. . . Right, suppose that's just an everyday thing for you.

Right. So you're saying that the son of Satan put an end to the Apocalypse? Seriously? What would he go and do that for?

. . . Huh, really? Well, I suppose humans can be wonderful a great deal of the time, but-- I would've thought a human boy would be thrilled with the prospect of blowing something up.

Suppose it makes sense. Starting things fresh means leaving a sort of power vacuum, I suppose.

Well! Lucky for your world that it wasn't, I reckon.
