[Firo falls onto the plane, bleeding from a dozen cuts and... not healing? No, scratch that, he's healing very, very slowly. His leg is the color of granite, and so is the hand clutching it, which seems to be locked in place. His hat tumbles off as he hits the ground on his side and lays there, coughing and gasping.]

Monsters from Angie's world.

What was it? Some kind of Medusa monster?

I guess.

But it's healing, isn't it? Or wearing off at least?

[Well that doesn't sound good.] Anything I can do?

Not unless you know someone who can turn stone into skin.

[Stiff shrug. His cuts are slowly starting to gather the blood back in, but the stone has now creeped up past his wrist.]

[Frowns.] It's getting worse, isn't it?

It's fine. [Not showing how worried about it he actually is, that's for sure.]

[Trying to think of some kind of solution. Sure, there are Contractors who could turn things into stone, but there wasn't really a way to recover from that.]

[The cuts are starting to seal themselves] You get any mergers like this?

[Shakes his head.] No monsters. Just...people.

People?

Foreigners. They don't seem to realize they're in Tokyo. New Yorkers, Canadians, Greeks.

Better than monsters, I guess.

[Smirks.] I suppose so. Though I'll still have that to worry about if my world ever starts merging with Angela's.

[Wince] Hopefully you'll have Dino's luck and get shops or something instead.
