[Chris gives a little shrug.] It was worth a shot.

[WHAT. THE FUCK. Okay, she has decided this bet was a mistake. Grabbing the hilt of her sword, even managing to draw--and then nothing.]

[Yeahhh... Chris is now overshadowing you, Aniki. Don't worry, though, he's just going to toss the rope a good distance away, then hop out and jog toward it, setting his foot in the loop to keep her from grabbing it. He's a bit smug by this point.]

[Staggers a bit as he leaves, but then she's after him, and uh... Sorry Chris, but you may perhaps have a nice, long, shiny length of metal pressed against your neck. A very, very sharp one. She takes care of her baby.]

[Chris tilts his head back a little to relieve the pressure. Sure, he could just phase... but this is also bringing memories of when Leo did much the same, over a year ago.]

[Chris takes half a step back, tilting his head back further. He's a bit nervous now, but he's not beaten yet.]

[Sits down on the plane, seems to consider something for a moment, and then lays down instead.] Honestly? I've no notion any more.

[Chris watches her, then rolls his eyes to himself and sits down as well, shifting so that the rope is still looped around his ankle.] What do you mean?
