[Lina is off in a less traveled corner of the Plane. She has brought five lumps of rock with her and is using a spell to shape them into squat golems with shovel hands. Three are done so far and she is grinning and humming happily as she works]

Ensuring my victory~

With little statues? I guess they're magic or something, right?

They're golems! [She pauses and points at one, whispering something. It twitches a bit and turns it's head before Lina stops it] I figured some extra manpower and since it's nothing to complicated golems will work perfectly!

Ah, that's clever then. Your own personal army.

And that's why no one is going to stand a chance against me! I'll get the treasure and the reward!

So what is it this time? A new town or the same one?

A new town. I'm a traveling sorceress, I don't like to stay in one place to long if there's nothing going on.

This time some village has hired a bunch of magic users to help them dig up some ancient statue that's suppose to be buried nearby. But the same guy who buried the statue is suppose to have buried a huge stash of treasure with it. If I find the statue, I get the treasure, turn the statue over the village and get the hero's feast they've promised to whoever finds it first~

Sounds like a win-win.

And I'll be the one winning~ There are a few more people after the treasure but since they aren't anywhere near my level, it's not like they'll be any challenge.

And all that without even breaking a sweat. You really are something.

[Oh she likes you Hei. You feed her ego!] Of course, I'm the great Lina Inverse!

[He's good at it! He grins.]

Ah, that reminds me. How did it go last time, with the sorcerer and the demon.

Nope, I think almost everyone here is from different worlds. Your world must have magic if you know what golems are.

Of course! They wouldn't be of much use to me if they weren't. I just haven't activated the spell yet since I don't want to waste energy.

[Nods] That does make sense. Is this some form of competition, then?

Yep. A village hired a bunch of magic users. Some ancient hero of theirs buried a statue outside the village and wants us to dig it up, and they happen to be offering a hero's feast to whoever find it first. Oh, and did I mention the pile of treasure that's suppose to be buried with that statue.

Hey, that seems almost like earthbending.
