[Remember that patch of earth Toph brought in? Well, Botta did, and since the Renegade bases are in a desert and a snowbound region, respectively, he's decided that the Astral Plane is a good place for the garden he always wanted. He's got a four-by-six foot area tilled, and is currently planting all manner of flowers and vegetables in it. Feel free to wander by and help/poke him~]

As far as I know, at least...there's a forest elsewhere that doesn't seem to have any difficulty growing, so I don't see why smaller plants shouldn't thrive as well.

You start by digging a hole large enough for the plant's roots to fill it. Next, you take the plant out of the pot, and break up the roots gently. [He demonstrates.] We don't want to tear them off of the plant, but they need to be able to spread out beyond the shape of the pot, you see?
