[Romeo is walking around in normal clothes for once. He has his hands in his pockets and is acting down and angry at the same time]

Stupid Juliet, what's he thinking, taking a break for no reason at all. Playing with my feelings, that's what it is. [Oh, a random rock, he kicks it, hard] That bastard, I'm not going to forgive him for this.

[...much as he hates to admit it, he can sympathise.] I hate those sort of fights.

I don't even know if this counts as a fight! He just decided we needed a break out of nowhere. He couldn't even give me a good reason! I'm so angry! If he wants a break then it might as well be one for forever! [Sorry, you're getting the rambling]

...he didn't seem to want a break last time I spoke to him.

Something must have changed. What did he say to you?

Something about how no-one who's never been in love could understand how you feel about each other, or something. [Yes, it did piss him off. Why do you ask?]

Oh. Sounds like something he'd say. [Sighs] Too bad his 'feelings~' seem to have suddenly changed.

[He's tempted to make a snarky comment. He really is... but he'll play nice because he's not as mean as Juliet.] ...do you want coffee?

Strange, but coffee sounds great right now.

I usually find coffee helps at times like this. [And with that he drops, returning a few minutes later with two mugs of his finest.]

Does it heal broken hearts? [Sighs again, but accepts the coffee]

Not in my experience.

Only love can. [Drinks some]

...did you really love him?

[stares down at his coffee] Yes, yes I do... Even without this whole Romeo and Juliet thing I really love him... [Try not to make him cry]

[He just nods, looking down himself.]

Guess he doesn't feel the same way. [And drowns himself in coffee] Maybe I need something stronger than this.

[Ianto drops again, this time reappearing with a decanter of whiskey and a glass (apparently he likes stealing Jack's booze).] This strong enough?

[Whoa, he likes this guy] Only if you drink with me, bit lonely otherwise.

[He thinks about this for a moment, then adds some to his coffee after pouring Romeo a glass.] Alright. I'm trying not to drink too much for a while, though. I overdid it a bit when we got stuck here.

When I saw you you were only drinking coffee. But sometimes it's good to get wasted. [Stirring his glass and staring at it, not yet drinking] It's what people do when their hearts are broken, no?

It wasn't my birthday when you saw me.
