[Flonne stumbles onto the Plane, giving a surprised gasp as she looks around] Ah! This isn’t--! Oh, my. Did the Gate Keeper send me to the Stellar Graveyard by mistake? But it doesn’t look the same… It doesn’t feel like the Netherworld at all.

[Her high heels click as she walks forward and calls] Laharl-san? Etna-san? Are you here? Hello? Is there anyone there?

…It looks like I’m alone here. Maybe this has to do with that new shop. Demons have such a strange sense of humour sometimes, so this could all be a joke.

[She looks more relaxed this time as she looks at the stars, a warm smile on her face] But this place is so beautiful. I feel so close to the stars. It can’t be a joke. But I wonder where I am. I better find out fast before everyone wonders where I am!

-- Anyway, I reckon it's a bit different for everyone. On the bright side, time stops when you arrive here. Should still be the same time when you get back.

Yes! The Netherworld is home to the demons. Are you from the human world? But that's a relief. Laharl-san might worry if I was gone.

Yeah, human world, that's where I'm from. I take it Laharl's a friend of yours in the-- demon world, then?

I have friends from the human world! But yes, Laharl is the Overlord.

Overlord, demon world, Netherworld. Right. New vocabulary words.

-- You seem a bit cheerful for a demon, you know.

I'm not a demon. I just live there with my friends. I'm from Celestia. But thank you! I do my best to stay positive and cheerful. It's the best way to spread love.

. . . Well, that's-- a bit different. I'd expect someone who hung around demons to be a bit more-- I don't know. Growly and loud and "Here, mate, have this sharp, rusty knife. Go on and stab the nearest person with it, that's a fellow."

O-Oh, no! I'm nothing like that! There are many demons that act that way, that is true, but my goal is to show them all the love they have inside of them. Demons are certainly capable of kindness. They just need some guidance.

Well, that's-- certainly noble of you, then. Sounds like a worthy cause.

And how well is it going so far, d'you reckon?

I think I'm doing well. Sometimes it's difficult to tell if I'm making progress but I've learned many demons hide their love and caring under stubbornness or even...more confusing affections. Love comes in many forms. I think many of them already love in their own ways.

Seems like you've done a lot of research. It'd make a good thesis paper, you know, though I don't suppose that'd be something that concerned you.

I can't say I know demons well, but a part of me wants to warn you to not be too surprised if that love comes in the form of something sharp and pointy.

I'm all right. Sometimes Etna-san teases me strangely but I never worry about her actions. Demons really do have a strange sense of humour.

You should meet some! Before I met a demon, I thought they were all evil and cruel. But I've learned that good and evil don't exist in absolutes.

I'm sure they'd appreciate a memorandum, yeah.
