[There is a ninja somewhere off to the side of the Plane kitchen. Actually, no, he's not a ninja. He's a Time Lord trying to cook in private. And by 'cook' I mean he's having too much fun flipping the pancake to actually cook it properly. That poor pancake. Pity it. It's being juggled in the pan. But he's dragged over enough equipment and ingredients to sit around and try to cook pancakes in what he hopes is a low traffic area.

Side story! He's trying to cook here instead of on his TARDIS because there was a chance the Master would come in raiding for scones and ruin his amazing cooking process. Blame the Master for everything.

So there you have it. A cooking Doctor]

He loves tetris, actually. I was tempted to give him a Sims game but I'm worried what sort of ideas he might get from that. Mario Kart, on the other hand, seems harmless enough...

Maybe. Although I'd still say puzzle games are safest.

No telling what damage might be done if he comes in last place in a racing game.

Didn't really think of that one, either. Blimey, he'd be difficult at Christmas.

Stuffed animals are probably the way to go with him, you know. Or gift cards to crafts stores.

Or a knitting kit.

I'm pushing for that one, mate. I'd chip in twenty quid if you get him fluffy pink yarn, too.

He does like pink. Did you notice the Valiant lighting system?

Although Rose has been pestering me about getting a puppy. Not quite sure what to do with that.

A bit undecided on the concept, really. [Him, slightly jealous? over an imaginary dog and its obvious namesake? Naaaah, of course not.]

[Here the Doctor assumed it was for the dog's safety--] I doubt she'll forget to feed it too often.

There's also the bit where she might forget to take it for walks, or to take it to a veterinarian. And just think what it might do to a smaller dog, like the one they've already go.

Ah, yes, Rose. [why no, he doesn't do a stupid grin every time he remembers that--] Could try to get her to get a smaller dog, instead.

She seems sort of set on a big dog, it looks like. Which, well, as lovely and energetic as big dogs can be (no, really, I think they're wonderful), I'm not entirely sure about it.

Problem is, even if you say no, you'll probably wake up next week with a puppy biting your toes.

Yeah, doesn't seem I've got much choice. Suppose I ought to just be resigned to it.

Maybe help her pick it out? One that you won't mind as much.
