[There is a ninja somewhere off to the side of the Plane kitchen. Actually, no, he's not a ninja. He's a Time Lord trying to cook in private. And by 'cook' I mean he's having too much fun flipping the pancake to actually cook it properly. That poor pancake. Pity it. It's being juggled in the pan. But he's dragged over enough equipment and ingredients to sit around and try to cook pancakes in what he hopes is a low traffic area.

Side story! He's trying to cook here instead of on his TARDIS because there was a chance the Master would come in raiding for scones and ruin his amazing cooking process. Blame the Master for everything.

So there you have it. A cooking Doctor]

Ah well. Maybe I'll try sticking to one extra at a time. Or two. Maybe. Three really isn't so bad...

[clears throat] Anyway, just wandering around today?

Maybe you should see if you can get a plain pancake cooked first...?

Ah... Yeah. [tilts his head a little] I needed to get away from Sakurai for a while.

That might be best, yes. [starts trying to mix up new batter]

[blinks] Are you two fighting?

[he watches for a moment, but then his attention is taken by the question] No, it's...

I'm staying at the Milk Dipper for now until I've healed from the fight. It's just strange being around him so much. [Not to mention, you know, his sister who owns his current residence.]

Ahhh, well, I know how that goes. [well not so much the sister bits but hey] You'll be healed up in no time, though.

[nods a little and smiles] Yeah. ... You do?

Oh, yeah. Everyone needs a break sometimes, don't they? Even I take breaks.

Do you ever go anywhere when you do?

Oh, I come here sometimes. Or find some corner of the TARDIS to stay in. Or I'll find somewhere to explore wherever I happen to be at that moment.

... Sounds nice.

It usually is. Actually, there's a specific place I like to go for breaks, called the Eye of Orion. It's the most serene place in the universe. Although a rose garden would do in a pinch, I suppose.

[That... sounds kind of amazing.] Eye of Orion? What's it like there?

A bit like earth after a thunderstorm. There's a particularly dense cloud of positive ions in the atmosphere that gives it a recharging feeling. And the skies can be gorgeous. Go at the right time and you can watch starbursts while you lie in the grass.

[He takes a moment to imagine it based on the Doctor's description... and smiles.]

[beams at him] It's better in person, of course, but it's the best place for a weary traveler.

[He nods a little.] I'll take your word for it.

I suppose this place is your Eye of Orion?

[Nods again.] Moreso before Sakurai came here, I guess... but it's still nice, to get away.

Sometimes it's hard to get privacy around here, isn't it?

... Mm. Sometimes.

[Now I match your icon--] Funny, really. For a place pretending to be infinite, it's easy to run into people.

[... Mun finds it freakishly adorable they have matching icons. Ryotarou laughs just a little bit.] You're right.

[I know, right? best thing ever. The Doctor grins] You know, I really don't mind it, though. The bothering.

You don't?
