[She's sitting on the swings, head resting against one of the chains as she looks up at the sky. She's been to see her-world Hei. Yup. And, actually, it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. Draining, but really... not so bad.

What she's currently thinking about is how they did in fact find a bomb inside the Gate. And how tomorrow the rest of them are slated to go off.

And of course, how the hell she can stop it from happening.]

[And the Griever takes this inopportune moment to show up on the Plane, randomly a few steps away from the kitchen. He looks a little roughed up, but nothing too bad. He does, however, notice the two nearby and debates flying away or... something. Henrietta's not so bad, but it's the other guy he's wary about approaching.]

[Momentarily distracted by his appearance. NO FLYING AWAY FOR YOU TODAY, CHRIS.] Signore Chris!

[Grabs his hand and points at the constellation again.] Look! It's Orion!

You do, huh? [Points to Cassiopeia.] Do you know that one?

[And, oh, it's the guy he pulled a knife on. Shit.] What are you doing here?

Henrietta, I— [Fffft. Grabbed.] ... Yeah, I see it.

[Glances to Hei.] Didn't you ask the same thing last time?

[To Hei. She's now clinging to Chris's arm with both hands, though she doesn't seem to notice at the moment.] No, what's that one?

[And then she quiets a little, looking back and forth between them.]

It's Cassiopeia. She's the mother of Andromeda, and claimed that she and her daughter were more beautiful even than the Nereids of the ocean. But that made Poseidon, the god of the ocean, angry. So Andromeda was chained to a cliff as a sacrifice to the sea monster Cetus. She was rescued by Perseus, but Cassiopeia was punished. She was put in the sky, where she spends half the year hanging upside-down.

[Flashes a glare at Chris as he starts making the stirfry, but he doesn't answer.]

[There is a little girl. ON HIS ARM. Chris just sighs a little and listens to the explanation, in interest, actually.]

... You gotta give those ancient gods props for their ideas on cruel and unusual punishment.

[Digests the story in silence for a moment, fixing the look of Cassiopeia in her mind. And then. Er. She realizes that she is clinging to Chris. aklsdjaslkjd She lets go and steps away, blushing and looking at the ground. The invisible ground. Where there are even more stars. She mumbles something.]

[Mildly,] True. Though sometimes they just overreacted.

[Stares at Henrietta a moment before he points at the Big Dipper.] Do you know that one?

[Chris... blinks at Henrietta.] What?

[Then looks over where Hei is pointing. Of course he knows what it is, but he wasn't the one who was asked.]

S...Sorry, Signore Chris.

[And then looking with interest at the Big Dipper.] No.

That's the Big Dipper. It's part of a larger constellation called Ursa Major, the Great Bear. It's one of the most recognizable constellations in the sky.

[Uses his newfound freedom, however, to lean against the counter and kind of watch Hei to see what he's doing. His mom was a chef, okay?]

Um. Signore Hei? If there's a Great Bear, does that mean there's a little one too?

[Doesn't answer right away since he's focusing on not letting the stirfry burn.]

There is. Let's see... [Looks around.] In the normal sky, the Little Bear is usually near the Great Bear, but in this sky...there it is. [Points.] See that star at the end of the Little Dipper's handle? That's Polaris. No matter where you are in the world, that star is always pointing North. So if you're ever lost, you can find your way home with that star.

[Frustrated kind of noise at the automatic 'Yes, signore', but then he watches the astronomy lesson quietly.]

Um. Do Signore Chris and Signore Hei know each other?

[Quickly,] We've met.

[Stirfry is done! Hei scoops some onto two plates, then glances at Chris.] Do you want any?

He mistook me for someone else.

[Griever glances over, then quirks a brow.] You want to share?

[Looking back and forth between them.] Signore Hei met the other ghost like you, Signore Chris?

[Blinks at Chris.] Wait, you're a ghost? That explains some things. [Was friends with Yuyuko so this doesn't faze him.]

[He frowns at the food.] If you eat, you can have some. Think of it as an apology.

[ghostlighter]

[... siiigh.] Yes, I'm a ghost. And no, Henrietta, I doubt it.

Yeah, I eat. [Hopes he won't have to actually explain that. And also wonders if he could get away with transforming back.] ... Apology accepted. [Although he's not going to forget the incident anytime soon.]

[Staaaring. She accepts the food from Hei shyly, because akjdakjsdhaskjdh HE COOKED FOR HER O.O, and then goes back to looking at Chris.] Th-thank you very much, Signore Hei.

Signore Chris eats still?

[Scoops some onto a plate for Chris and hands it to him wordlessly.]

[To Henrietta,] You're welcome. [And he starts plowing through his food.]
