[there is a pile of pillows, carpets (a fair few Persian due to his most recent adventure), blankets and drapery beside the Master, who is standing just outside of the Fortress of Awesome self made. One might assume that the Master was in the process of taking the various furnishings into the Fortress, and one would be right. Indeed, half of them are inside the Fortress.

Sadly, the Master got distracted by trying to balance the tip of a sword on his finger, and has now completely forsaken his project for the sake of practicing his fencing]

What this place really needs, right now, is a United Parcel Service. Not the Royal Mail; I don't trust them. But the UPS is predictably awful and that's... dull.

Scratch that, then! We need the Royal Mail!

[there's some very important dialogue that's likely to happen if they carry on in this, so I guess I have to continue-- A very consuming one, yes. And the Doctor will be perhaps surprised to realise that they've now been dragged back to their own realities, in the TARDIS rain room]

[You say they like that have issues or something-- He is very surprised, actually, and thus pauses the kiss to voice this surprise with a simple:] Master?

That's not exactly the tone of voice I like to hear in this sort of situation.

No, no, I like it. [note that he's staying close] Just surprised.

[with the rain pounding on glass above them, the Master kisses the Doctor again, strong, and with meaning]

[The Doctor kisses back, not even missing the different feel in the Master's kiss, shifting his hands to rest on the Master's waist]

[The Master's fingers wrap themselves in the Doctor's shirt, and as the Master sits up, he pulls the Doctor with him, still holding on]

[The Doctor sits up straighter to use his height as an advantage, kissing the Master deeper and pressing closer to him.]

[the Master breaks the kiss, pulling the Doctor down a bit to take the height advantage away. When he speaks, the word is not a prayer, but a demand, a question, a query demanding the proper answer. And it's a little bit irritated, too.]

Doctor.

[The Doctor frowns for a moment and glances away, trying to think of the right response. Everything they do is rather caught up in meanings, after all, but usually it's second nature.

So he responds by bowing his head slightly, submissive, his lips brushing over the Master's skin as he says] Master.

[If it is not the right answer, it is almost the right answer. The Master has no other questions to ask of the Doctor that cannot be asked without sound]
