[after spending the last few days either holed up in his office or beating the crap out of baddies (more so than usual, really), Gene has retreated to the Astral Plane where he may or may not be looking over a letter that may or may not be from Sam that may or may not have actually been written by Gene to fool his CID. it's half-finished and, after a moment, the Guv scowls and balls it up, tossing it away]

[the look of complete horror on her face - even if her glasses are technically fine - is epic] D-Don't do that!! Give those back right now or else!!!

Or else you'll what? Cry at me? [steps back and bends over, picking up the glasses and glaring epically that they aren't busted] The hell are these made of, steel?

[smugly] I knew you'd try to break them so I asked Meredith to make them Gene-proof.

[oh that's rich. he rather dislikes you right now, but then he smirks a little and just shoves them in his pocket] Break 'em or lock 'em away, makes no difference to me, girlie.

[jaw epically drops now] M-My glasses!! You can't take those! They're mine!!

I can do what I want. Now go play with your dolls like you're supposed to.

[she's glaring and now she's going to try to hit you, Gene]

[and he just grins at her like the right bastard he is, cause he's totally gonna hold her forehead so she can't reach him with her stubby arms]
