05; I'm gonna steal gonna steal [gonna steal your heart]
[having been drawn out of his attempts to take apart some of the furniture to build a timey-wimey detector by the loud frigging BANG from the metal building falling, the Doctor steps out and looks around, surprised to find that he no longer needs his torch-screwdriver. He puts it out and walks around]
Did someone turn back on the lights?
[looks up]
No stars, though. Strange. Well! At least they managed to get rid of all the darkness. Was worried the screwdriver's batteries would wear out.
OOC: Sorry for the delay! Have the Doctor as the "Goddess" of Thieves! He can now see in the dark and steal things as a magical ability (except hearts, he just steals those by being the Doctor). He can also "steal" the truth from someone by demanding it. Let me know if we're playing and you don't want him to know something or obtain something. This is all in fun.

[flinches irritably at the torch]
Really, it's bright enough, you can turn that off.
no subject
[waving the screwdriver in the Doctor's face, though, he's doing that just to be obnoxious]
Now, you can insist on being thick about it, or you can believe me. Entirely up to you.
no subject
[ugh!]
Give me that.
[he can has?]
no subject
...What?? Give me that back!
no subject
No, stop it. Now that the light's back, we're going to have to work together to get everyone off of the Plane and back to where they belong.
no subject
[walks towards the Doctor to get his screwdriver back]
no subject
The lights are back. I can see you. I can see everything.
no subject
Well aren't you a special snowflake? I can't. I need that back. So hand it over.
And, while we're here, exactly how did you manage to get it into your hands? Or don't you know that, either?
no subject
Your senses are obviously disrupted. You can't see and you move far too slowly. Should get that other self of yours or that other me to take a look at you. Could be something with the Plane.
[if there's stuff behind him, he may be getting close to falling into it]
no subject
Oh, that is just like you, isn't it? Someone disagrees, so obviously that person must be wrong. Did it ever occur to you that you might be the one who has changed? Or do you want to pretend, as always, that you're the epitome of all things right, the centre of 'as it must be' and the standard bearer of 'what it ought become'?
I'm not blind; you're able to see, defying logic. And I'm not slow; something changed in you. Are you going to question the fact that my screwdriver vanished from my hand and reappeared in yours, or not?
no subject
It didn't vanish, I took it! I watched myself take it!
You just don't want to admit that you could be anything less. Anyone who might surpass you in a skill is the wrong one, the broken one, though you---
[and trip, though instead of falling, he moves inhumanly quickly and is now behind the Master]
[...]
Right, so I might've changed a little bit.
no subject
You are such an idiot. Now give me my screwdriver back.
no subject
[he can has? If so, he laughs triumphantly]
no subject
You stupid-- [resists the urge to just punch the Doctor in the face (barely)]
Oh, it may've altered your vision, but everything else is just as normal. You get the ability to instantaneously translocate objects, and the first thing you do? Try to undress me. You only have to ask, you know. Or are you too shy?
no subject
[but shoeless! He can has?]
no subject
What, can't you just believe that I'm attracted to you? What tragically low self-esteem you have!

[five year old attitude? Oh, what else is new...]
no subject
Your jealousy, though, that's something you need to be more cautious of. Path to the Dark Side, that.
no subject
[starts fooling around with the laser screwdriver because it's better to be distracted than to show that he might be jealous at all]
How do you make this work without the isomorphic controls?
