[Hei appears mid-stride. He's got a black eye and just generally looks worn out. He's also wearing his game face--blank, alert, watchful. For those who know it, this is his Contractor face.]

[He frowns and looks around, freezing momentarily.] What...I didn't mean to come here.

[After a moment he seems satisfied that this isn't a trick (or a hallucination) and he visibly relaxes. He sighs and suddenly looks even more tired than he did at first.]

Me? I'm alright--aside from not really intending to come here. [Nods at the crutch.] What about you?

Seems to be happening to a lotta people lately. I actually didn't mean to come here either, but my timing's not that bad, I guess.

[Ikki grins.] Wait here a second then. [And he pops off the plane for a few. With the time differences, it's a bit disorienting to grab ANYTHING.]

It's all connected, I think--the sky, the problems with time and now this.

Man, that was a pain in the ass.

[Takes both of them so that Ikki doesn't fall over.]

How long were you gone that time?

[Ikki gives him a brief smile of thanks, then flops down where he is.] Fifteen hours, or something like that.

[Sits down as well, setting one bowl before Ikki and the other before himself.]

Damn. I was just gone two days.

[Finishes it off at lightning speed and sets it down.] Ah, I spoke to Romeo and Juliet.
