[Aniki staggers onto the plane, dropping, rolling, and narrowly avoiding the series of flaming debris that comes with her. Beams and bits of furniture smash to the ground, either blazing brighter for a few moments as they explode or bouncing and skittering across the plane in crackles of sparks.

When she staggers to her feet she winces and clutches her arm.]

Mother, Maid, and Crone. One moment I'm here and the next I pop away home and the sarden building is on fire! Any lad or lass about who cares to explain what just happened?

[concerned look] Are you all right, Aniki? Did you injure your arm?

[Wince. She moves her hand, revealing a deep, ragged tear across her upper arm. Her hand is plastered with blood, and now that she's taken pressure off of it the wound is bleeding free and fast. She hisses.] Not again.

[And back to squeezing, even if it makes her grimace. The skin around the wound is mildly burned.] Wasn't precisely expecting a homecoming like that. The place was perfectly stable and perfectly not on fire when I left.

[pulls a face and starts rummaging through the pockets of her jacket for something that might be used as a tourniquet] Some of the burning debris fall on you, then? [aha, her belt! she unbuckles it and pulls it off, looping it around Aniki's upper arm and pulling it tight] Time's been going all wonky - hold on, I'll go grab a medical kit and see what I can do. [brb, popping back to the Hub - and now she's back with a medical kit] Time's still passing while we're on the Plane, it would seem.

Oh, well that's just grand. And I'd say the hold building was set to come down on me, yes.

Isn't it, though? [grabbing a syringe of anaesthetic and jabbing it in, and then she gets some gauze and starts cleaning the wound carefully] Ugh, I'm not sure if I can stitch this up with your skin burnt like that. [frown; mainly talking to herself] I could try gluing the edges together, though?

[Gives her a '....' look.]

Well, topical adhesive. [she pulls out a small tube of it] It's specially made for medical use. It'll hold the wound together while it heals, then dissolve over time.

[Still eyeballing it warily.] I might just wait for a healing at home, lass.

If you want. [chuckles] I'm still not used to the thought of someone being healed by magic.

[Winces.] If you had something 'sides a belt to slow the bleeding up for a bit, though, I wouldn't object.

[she pulls something more tourniquet-y out of the bag and wraps that around Aniki's arm, taking her belt back, then starts bandaging up the wound] Good, 'cos I do sort of need that to keep my pants from falling down.

[grins at her as she wraps the gauze around her arm] Hey, I don't just wear belts to look good. Well, sometimes I do, but not when I'm at work.

What is work, precisely? Don't think I ever got a clear answer on that. Or asked a clear question on it, for that matter.

I basically save the world from alien invasions - well, on the glamourous days. On normal days, I investigate things that don't really exist and spend loads of time cutting weird creatures up.

[Draws a line in the air above it and an instant later it's healing.]

That's what I want to know. [Relaxes as the wound heals.] I was a bit worried about that one, and no mistake. [Crouches down and gives Ammy's neck a rough rub.] Thank you, goddess.

Though, you said that when you went back, it had changed. That's not supposed to happen, is it? Unless you are the victim of one of the Twins' experiments...
