13- The product of experiments gone wrong

[A cloud of thick, green smoke appears on the Plane, dissipating almost as suddenly as it appeared. In the middle of it is Jack, his shirt unbuttoned and it's sleeves pushed up to his elbows, a gas mask in one hand. He's coughing slightly, holding a hand over his mouth as he does so] That is the last time I open a container labeled 'Mostly Harmless'

[ooc: This is an idea that can easily be attributed to my current lack of proper sleep, but it's four am and it makes sense now. The gas that surrounded Jack is basically alien truth serum, but in gas form. It won't affect any of the other people on the Plane, but it will make Jack answer any question asked truthfully, not answering lacking as an option.

Can't say I wasn't tempted, but I know better. I like being known as a trustworthy man. Asking you questions about your past isn't the way to find out anything. [the Brigadier stands straight, hands behind back, completely serious] If you want to tell, you will.

[the Brigadier salutes him back] You're welcome, Captain. [the Brigadier pauses for a bit] How does this sound? You can ask me a few questions, as long as they aren't too personal. [the Brigadier is actively trying to set up a situation where he won't be asking Jack anything. good job, Brig]

[he nods] I'm a career man. I was eighteen when I was in Sandhurst.
