[Oh! It's a Mu! He's dressed rather nicely today - a bit more formal than usual, and his hair is up somewhat elaborately. He looks pleased. He's also carrying a big tin of...something, but it smells really damn good]

I don't suppose anyone here has a sweet tooth? Camus sent me off with all the leftover baklava from dinner, and there's far more here than I could ever eat, even with Kiki's help.

[Stomach growling.]

B-baklava?...It's so hard to find it in Tokyo...

[Eyeballing the tin. Careful, Mu, he'll eat them all if you let him, XD.]

Y-yes, please! Thank you!

[Takes one and munches.]

[Mouth full,] Mmm, I haven't had baklava in years...

No? I get some now and then when Milo makes a few batches. I do enjoy it, but I simply have too much - I'd hate for it to go to waste.

It's hard to find in Tokyo, though I might not be looking in the right places. The last time I had baklava was when I was in Europe on assignment.

[Enthusiastic nod.] Food should never go to waste!

[Finishes the pastry and licks honey off his fingers, eying the tin again.] This Milo must be a genius. That was delicious.

[Awkward smile. Isn't used to people being nice to him for real.] ...Thanks.

I know someone who lives around the Tokyo area...if he stops by again, perhaps I will ask him if it's possible to find there.

It's the only thing Milo can make without burning down the kitchen. It's also the only thing he can focus on for more than thirty seconds at a time.

[offers more] You're quite welcome.

Oh good! I met at least one other person here who is from Japan--Hashimoto Fumie. But she didn't seem to know about the Gate either, so I don't think...

[Pauses to ponder. Looks up at the stars.] Mu, are there any two people here who are from the same...reality?

[The smell of baklava drags him back. Takes another one and it's gone in about three seconds. Then he gestures at Mu's outfit.] Special occasion?

[Thinks about it a moment] I believe that Sam Tyler and his "Guv" are from similar, if not the very same realities. I'm not familiar with the details however.

[Smiles and has a piece himself, offering yet another to Hei] Indeed. It was my friend Camus' twenty-first birthday today.

I've met Mr. Tyler. Not this "Guv" person though. [Thinking.] Similar but not the same, huh...

[Smiles back and takes a third piece.] Good for him, then.

As far as I know, that seems to be the case.

Well, I get to tease him about being old for a month at least.

That's interesting. I also found out that not only can the people in my...my Tokyo not see the Twins' shop, they also can't see anything I bring from the Astral Plane. A guy named Luffy gave me a gold piece from his world, and none of my comrades could see it. Is that the case for everyone?

Old? [Chuckling.] Makes sense, I suppose. I'm about your friend's age, and sometimes I feel old.

Not even when you're holding it directly?

[Smiles] Of the eleven of us, five were born in the same year - Camus, myself, Aldebaran, Aioria, Shaka and Milo. We sometimes tease Camus for being the eldest among us.

Well I was, but...oh, wait. I dropped it into Yin's hand, but she couldn't even feel it there. She's blind, so of course she wouldn't have been able to see it in my hand. Mao just looked at me like I was crazy. So you need to be in physical contact with the object...

I'll be sure to. The man is insane, but he manages the patience to not only make this, but enjoy doing so.

Well, I've always heard that the insane can still be geniuses. [starts munching on one of the pieces he took]

Well, it's about the only thing he can manage to make without torching his kitchen.

[pauses eating just long enough to say, sympathetically,] I know what that's like.

[Chuckles]

[Have a drooling Luffy!]

Mmmh... foood!...

Would you like a piece? They're quite sweet.

[Nods quickly.] Mmmh, yes please!

[Hands one over] There you are.

[Munches it happily.]

Those sweets are really good, did you make them?

I didn't, actually. My friend Milo made them - Baklava is about the only thing he can make without torching his kitchen.

It's delicious. Your friend is almost as good as our cook.

[All said while muching noisily.]

I'm sure your cook has yet to burn salad.

No, he's actually quite good. Maybe your friend could teach Sanji this recipe.

[What, you're not expecting Luffy to pay attention while eating, no?]

[small smile again] I'll see if I can get the recipe from him.

Oooh, I know, I'll ask Sanji to cook something for you in exchange. Do you like fish?

Oh, thank you! I'm a vegetarian, actually.

I can ask Sanji to cook something without meat, then.

I was raised that way - even if I wanted to eat meat now, I wouldn't handle it well.

It's Baklava. It's a pastry made from phyllo, ground nuts and honey. [Hands him a piece]
