Hmm, it seems that Gensokyo has changed recently. How long did I sleep~? Long enough for the mortals to leave and send others in their place?

How unfair, Reimu promised me a cup of shrine tea. Going on vacation without me was rather rude. They seem to have taken Youmu with them, despite the fact that I don't recall giving her permission to go...

No matter~. You are a rather strange bunch from what I have seen. Perhaps you'll be just as entertaining~?

I am from Hakugyokurou, but I tend to visit Gensokyo. If that happens to be in Japan, then I suppose so.

Hakugyokurou is the kingdom of the dead~. Gensokyo is where the living creatures happen to be, though the barrier has been broken, so I visit rather often.

Hardly~! There's much to do still when you run an undead kingdom. Flower viewing, tea ceremonies, feasts and festivals... And after a human broke the barrier between Hakugyokurou and the world of the living, I can visit rather often and sample their cuisine~.

Of course there's the job of inviting the living to death and being sure they behave once in Hakugyokurou.

My subjects behave for the most part, so it is no hassle. There are very few who manage to have physical bodies.

Most the souls in Hakugyokurou have unfinished business to keep them from reincarnation. Animals are rare to see there~.
