[Tsukasa does not like this. She has a chain around her ankle and has suddenly appeared on the plane, looking extremely unhappy. She has a moment to try to catch her breath before the chain drags her off towards another person.]

[Dorothy, meanwhile, is over by the kitchen, minding her own business. It's the middle of the night in Kansas, and craving a midnight snack, she'd jumped to the plane to stick her head in the fridge for a while to keep from waking up her aunt and uncle. The chain around her bunny-slippered ankle wasn't as troubling, until it started dragging her off to parts unknown-- and then she saw Tsukasa come flying at her.] Hey!! Look out!!

[Flails and tries to pull away, but the chain seems to leap up at Dorothy and connect with her chain. Tsukasa frowns at it and tries to tug it off of her ankle.]

What the...

[blinking, she shakes her leg a little] Huh. I'm guessing this isn't your fault either, is it?

No. Sorry... I don't know why it attached to my leg or why it did that.

Hm. [bending down, she pokes at the chain] Strange metal. S'pose this is something to do with the Plane, most likely. [noticing who she's attached to] I don't mean to offend, but have we met?

It probably does. And no, I don't think so. I'm Tsukasa.

I'm Dorothy. Nice to meet you!.... Or, well, the circumstances are a little awkward, but it's always nice to meet new people, anyway. That said, this seems to have picked the two of us at random. I wonder why?

I have no idea. But does this place ever do anything for a logical reason?

Good point. [a pause, while she yawns] Don't s'pose you have any ideas as to how to get out of this? I'm s'posed to be sleeping.

I have no idea. I'm supposed to be getting to a class.

Great. Just great! Well, I guess we oughta ask around, then.

[There is a Juni on the Plane, in the bar to be accurate... Although she doesn't seem at all relaxed, for one thing she's pacing and for another thing she's muttering to herself, only pausing occasionally to sip at the drink in her hand. The muttering all seems vaguely along the lines of "have to watch Spine" and "right, it all depends on finding a lodestone" with the occasional "thank heavens for the demonic bunny" thrown in, she's obviously quite preoccupied.

Eventually she throws herself down on a seat and groans, rubbing at her forehead with a hand

[Axel has a very busy schedule what with saving worlds and all, but he doesn't let that get him down. He's doing some extra training on the Plane to make up for it! Axel can be found dressed in his ringmaster best, surrounded by at least twelve training dummies, with two spiked chakrams clutched in his hands.]

Let's see if I can get that little trick to work again.

[He releases them suddenly, and they speed around him in a circle, slicing every single dummy before they pass each other directly behind him. He extends his arms forward and snatches them right out of the air, then straightens. There's a moment of silence before each of the dummy's torsos fall off and land beside the poles. Thumpthumpthumpthumpthump.

And then they all burst into flame.

Axel looks pleased with himself.]

[so the Cortina appears suddenly on the Plane with one very irate Gene Hunt getting out of the driver's side and screaming across the hood at whoever is in the passenger side. this person is not a member of CID, surprisingly. unsurprisingly is that Gene is upset with someone not from CID]

The hell you think you're doing you bloody bastard?!

[The person in question, in fact, is Arthur. He's pulled along by the leg and forced to climb out through the driver's seat, looking flustered and maybe even a bit annoyed]

I'm sorry, but there was a tree right there. You were close to hitting, so I acted on impulse....

You don't touch the Cortina, you hear me? I'm the one who drives her, not you. [sniffs] And I wasn't anywhere near a tree you div. The roads were perfectly clear.

I'm perfectly happy to leave the steering to you, Mr. Hunt, believe me. But I saw it. There was a tree, and we were heading straight for it...

Liar. I don't hit anything when I drive. You were seeing things, you bloody kook.

[On reflex, he pushes his glasses up] I was not seeing things. It was there. [A long sigh] Why are we arguing about this, still? Nothing happened to your automobile.

That's not the point. You don't. Touch. My car. Do it again and I'll have you locked up for meddling with police property.
.

...wouldn't you be locked in the cell right along with me?

Not if I removed your foot.

[Instinctively, he tries to take a step back]
You can't do that!

You're interfering in police business. I can do whatever I want so long as it lets me do my job.

Well, you're interfering in University business, yet I've agreed to follow you around to your job as long as I'm allowed to do my work.

We'll see about that.
