03 - I hear you speaking, but what are you saying?
[She reappears on the plane, with an alteration to her silk fan. She has quite obviously taken a paintbrush to the fabric, tracing across it the five languages she speaks with ease. French, German, English, Latin and Italian. Each word is painted across the surface in her elegant script. At least that much can be then understood. She fans herself, the words flaring visibly.]

*cough* German
Re: *cough* German
[smiles]
It seemed the best way to deal with any initial confusion.
German unless I specify otherwise 'cause I'm lazy :|
Works for me!
I briefly wondered if it might be a result of my newness here, but I have been assured it is most likely more random than that.

I hardly expected to be able to communicate with everyone.
Italian
Reinette. Please tell me you understand me..
Why yes, she learned Italian quite young...
You accent does distract slightly?
But of course I do.
YAY!
No one's been able to. Reinette.
Such joy!
Then they should spend a bit more time in the schoolroom. It is a lovely language.

I'm so...lost.
Reinette *hearts* as well, emoticons are beneath her...
*squee*
Squeeing is acceptable, as a form of communication
True dat.
Word ---she hates that I typed that...

German
German it is!
I presume you are one of the people affected by this madness?
[smiles briefly]
And no, we have not met before. But then I am fairly new here. I am Reinette.

[smiles back, fixing her hair a little]
Mmm, Lucy. Lucy Saxon. A pleasure, Reinette.

[consciously perfects her own attire at the sight of the other woman's grooming, a habit she will never lose]
A pleasure as well, Lucy.

[standing a short distance away...the blood on his clothes tends to make people uncomfortable]
English? [he nods toward the fan]
English
Of course.
no subject
That's a relief. I wonder what happened to everyone?
[he looks uneasy, glancing down at his clothes]
Sorry about...the blood. I should probably get back and change soon.

[her own life has left her not unaccustomed to the sight of blood, but --]
Are you all right?
