022 - Before You Finally Go, There's One Thing You Should Know
[Misaki is in the bar, nursing--a cup of coffee. Plain old coffee, no alcohol added. It's not even coffee so much as drinkable mud. She looks tired and angry and upset, and vaguely like she's been crying and is trying to hide it. What if they can't see us because they aren't really there? What if the Twins have taken us out of our worlds completely? What if the places we go to outside of the plane are figments, mental constructs, used to imitate our realities for the sake of their 'experiment'?
