[Misaki is in the bar, nursing--a cup of coffee. Plain old coffee, no alcohol added. It's not even coffee so much as drinkable mud. She looks tired and angry and upset, and vaguely like she's been crying and is trying to hide it. She stares into space for a moment, looks down at the mug, and then lays her head on her arms and to all intents and purposes falls asleep.]

Why are we invisible to the other person's associates? Why are we able to see each other, but they think we're talking to thin air? Why can we run into each other at all? Some of us aren't from Earth, and even those who are come largely from completely different timelines and realities!!

What if they can't see us because they aren't really there? What if the Twins have taken us out of our worlds completely? What if the places we go to outside of the plane are figments, mental constructs, used to imitate our realities for the sake of their 'experiment'?
