[seated in an ornate armchair, speaking in fluent, articulate, and rather pleasant-to-the-ears Gallifreyan]

It's actually a bit disgusting, hearing you lot speak Gallifreyan so primitively. Like chanting off - no, that metaphor's incomprehensible without a background in high mathematics. Fine. Like writing Calculus and finding everyone else doing basic algebra.

[then he changes to Russian - less articulate, of course, but he's comfortable with the language]

This one, though, this one's a bit ironic. Look at me, the Master, the deathless, blathering on in Russian. Haven't been in ages, should probably go back and put a few more legends into the locals.

[sips from his wine, and slips back into Gallifreyan]

At least the people of the city still understand me.

[he returns to his chair, picks up his wine glass, and sips from it]

[just stands by his chair] We should get food for our languages tonight.

[looks at him, and asks, as if the Doctor repeating will make it clear] What?

[feels so silly for what he's about to mime out but he points to his throat, then puts his fingers together in chopstick motions] Food for languages?

Russian and Japanese, then?

I'm just going to assume you got it this time and nods. [nods]

I don't want to coordinate with our languages.

[pouts] Oh, that look.

You're just mad you got stuck with Russian.

I'll decide what we have to dinner.

[nods a bit] You know, you usually look so grumpy.

[touches the Doctor's cheek] What was that, Doctor? Something you want to tell me?

[blinks, glancing at his hand] ...What? What did you just say? ...That's not fair at all.

Something the matter, Doctor?

And I heard my name in that one, Master.

[slips his fingers over the Doctor's cheek, then trails them down his jawline, talking in that smooth, self-satisfied, "I'm going to shag you into the carpet and you're going to like it" tone]

You look like such an idiot when I play you like this. I'd laugh, but it would ruin it.

[have one of those blissfully blank looks while he leans in just a bit]

This sort of thing should be illegal. I always think you're hypnotizing me when you do this, because it feels like it.

[slips his hand back around the Doctor's neck and starts massaging the nape]

I don't even need hypnotism. I don't need anything to have you, and that's quite pathetic, Doctor.

Mm... [looks at him, perhaps somewhat turned on but also curious] Do you like the sort of control you have over me? I sort of wonder about that, sometimes. Maybe you see it like that.

[massaging the back of his neck, now] Of course, it's something anyone can do, if they know what to do.

[makes a little noise and shuts his eyes, leaning closer] You'll pull the rug out from under me any minute now. And you'll laugh at me for getting my hopes up. Not that you'll think my hopes are because of you... [opens his eyes and meets the Master's eyes] Master.

[it bothers him, that intensity and his name, preceded by a string of words he can't understand, but he tries to mask it as he continues with his neck massage]

[he's now leaning very close, though still obviously enjoying the massage] Would you hit me if I kissed you again?

[scoffs] It's all nonsense to my ears.

[pulls his hand away]

Damn. I was rather hoping your hand would be busy. [leans forward quickly, kissing him and pulling back again]

Thank you.

I wish you wouldn't make it so sappy. It's hard to find any pleasure in that.
