[a pause and Deneb switches to Tibetan] I can speak this, too. [He clears his throat and goes back to German] I don't know what that is, though.

[frowns] I couldn't understand that. Sounded like...like... [runs his hand through his hair and makes a frustrated noise] I know this! I know I do. It's in my head somewhere.

[nods at Ryotarou to confirm Deneb - well he assumes it was right] Anyway, hm. Ah! [reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pad of paper and a pencil and hands it to Ryotarou] Just in case. Speaking as a cat can't exactly be fun.

[Ryotarou takes the paper and pen, looking at it for a moment. He then writes out a Fa'Dielian question mark, which hopefully looks like any Earth-language's, to hold up for them to see?]
