[Dino is in a corner of the Plane away from people. He is busy flaying plywood cut-outs of people to death with his whip. For anyone who has only seen him tripping over that whip of his before? This is how good he really is with it. Pieces of wood are flying everywhere, so it probably isn't a good idea to get close. Dino has found out Hei is dead, but he knows better than to going charging after the Masters blindly. He needs to take his anger and frustration out on something though, so he choose to kill plywood-people.]

You're thinking like a mob boss; I'm thinking like a cop. I would like to know what you think you'll be able to do to them. The Masters would be amused by your anger, scornful of whatever pain you tried to inflict. They would catch you, torture you and kill you, and they would probably throw Li's body at you during the process just to see into how many pieces you can break. Even if you kill them, by some miracle, what will that accomplish? They'll come back and it'll be the same thing all over again. And then what? Li finds out and goes after them? Or Angela finds out? Or any number of your friends in this place?
Revenge is a circle with one beginning and no end, Dino. And, on top of all of that, I should tell you, I consider the Plane to be part of my jurisdiction. If you're going to try and kill someone here, I'll arrest you. I have to. It's what I do.

[The rest was logic and he could see the point, see what she was saying. And that was why he hated it. He didn't want logic right now, he wanted to do something. But he was being told to do something that went against what he was taught. Then he things of Angela and the thought of her trying setting foot in the kind of world he lived in makes him stop and think He] Are they really that bad, that powerful? I'm not scared that easily.
What do you want me to do? Sit around and be helpless again, like I have been the rest of the time something has happened to the people I care about here?

And I would advise you to get over yourself, is what I would do. The greater part of my job is waiting for the next casualty and the next clue when all other roads have been exhausted. You can't save everyone, and honestly? We are all helpless, all the time, always. [PANDORA sure as hell drove that fact home.] This is why we need each other and the strength that those presences give us. Hei is going to need you and he's going to need you alive.

I'm not used to sitting back and waiting, doing nothing. I'm used to having the resources to do something. When I was a kid I was better at just dealing with things but that was trained out of me.
[Since they line about needing each other is eerily close to something he would say h,e can't say anything about that either.]

I've got an idea! [excited] I'll set up a barrier around myself. You can bash away at it all you want, but if you want to get to me, you'll have to hit the right fuda. [pulls one of the slips of paper with complicated Japanese calligraphy all over it to demonstrate] They'll be placed all over the barrier, around you... So it's not just a test of brawn, but brains. [taps his temple with a grin] I mean, you can feel free to keep hitting my barrier as long as you want. There's that too. But if you want a bit of a challenge... [shrugs and opens his arms] It's there.

[He has studied a bit about Japan since that's where Tsuna is from, so a bit of that is familiar to him] You're Japanese?
no subject
I am. [laughs suddenly] I don't think I've even introduced myself, sorry. I'm Tsuzuki. [holds out a hand, smiling brightly] Where're you from?
no subject
I want to get started right now if you can do that.
no subject
Okay, no problem! [digs through his pockets and finds the right fuda. He makes some complicated hand symbols and holds up the fuda; it flies free of his fingers and settles in midair, where the air hazes and creates a semi-transparent dome from the fuda to the "ground." Tsuzuki makes one last sharp gesture. The fuda shudders, then copies of itself shoot outwards and spread themselves to various points around the dome barrier. Tsuzuki grins lopsidedly, hands in his trenchcoat pockets now.]
Have at it. All you like. Sometimes having an actual person to direct frustration at is better than a lifeless target.
no subject
[It turns grim as he circles the dome] As long as it isn't the wrong person, sometimes it does. [His whip flicks out and cuts one of the fuda]

[smiles amiably and continues chatting, watching Dino go at it; that fuda was a fake, and dissolves.] So, what do you do that you need impressive whip skills like this, Dino?
no subject
[Flick, there goes another fuda. Then he says, completely deadpan] I'm a Health and Safety Commissioner.
no subject
[also the wrong fuda, but he's getting closer] ...Health and Safety needs to use a whip in Italy? Wouldn't guns be more...conventional?
no subject
[ooc: I think I got the food stuff right anyway but I'm not sure][FlickFlick Have a couple more fuda down] I just like using a whip. Too much Indiana Jones when I was a kid.
no subject
Indiana Jones?
[congratulations! somewhere in there he found the right one. Tsuzuki beams at him.] Great job! Do you want to go again, or try something else?
no subject
[Gives me a look then sighs] He's the main character in some action movies. He uses a whip.
[Thinks about it then decides that he really isn't interested in hitting things anymore] No, that's enough for now. Thanks for doing that.
no subject
Oh, really? I don't get to watch movies too much.
Not a problem! I hope it helped, even a little.
