Right, so. Has anyone else noticed any changes to their homes? Other than the random shop and the sudden appearance of the astral plane, that is.

For example, I have a big chunk of 2006 sitting in the middle of my 1973. Yuyuko and Fumie have both noticed differences in how someone they know behaves. [and Gene Hunt now has sparkly blood, but we're just not going to mention that]

Dragged out of retirement, almost killed and eaten by my captors, infected with a particularly horrid and most likely incurable virus, unable to escape the planet I was forcibly brought to, given a glimmer of hope that I could have escaped, only to be abandoned on a dying planet by my oldest friend and best enemy.

Though you are right, I'm typically not the sort to rely on hopes - they are fickle things - but considering my situation and lack of proper tools? I've simply my own willpower to combat it, and in that, I can only ... hope I am not found lacking.

I am stating the simple truth. I have told you that I am trapped on this planet. It isn't my home nor is it in my proper time period. I have told you that I'm infected with a virus. There is nothing here of use to me. Just pure willpower. No cars, no guns, no forgeries or metals. No roads, computers, phones. Just myself.

[he then lightly shrugs]

[silent as the Master speaks, eyes flickering over his face almost searchingly. But then that's broken, and he looks away, nodding]

I know over six million different languages, Mr. Tyler. For purposes, I typically stick to English. It is much more easily wield than my native tongue.

[he waves his hand dismissively]
