Right, so. Has anyone else noticed any changes to their homes? Other than the random shop and the sudden appearance of the astral plane, that is.

For example, I have a big chunk of 2006 sitting in the middle of my 1973. Yuyuko and Fumie have both noticed differences in how someone they know behaves. [and Gene Hunt now has sparkly blood, but we're just not going to mention that]

[Incidentally, he is speaking a bit thickly, as he has a broken nose.]

It was, uh... [to out his abuser or not to out him? Well, the hesitation gives him away already] The Guv did it. Not on purpose, but he was holding a gun, and he has a pretty heavy fist without one.

Forgive me if I seem intrusive, but do these accidents involve any amount of alcohol?

[snorts - and hey, it doesn't hurt to do that, lucky Sam]

He can hardly see straight when he's hammered, let along punch straight. 'course, he has high tolerance, and I'd wager that he constantly has more alcohol content in his blood than is legal if you're driving, but it isn't like that.

Well that's a relief, albeit a small one. Still, I don't understand the allure in alcohol at all.

Again, forgive me if I sound rude, but I've never touched a drop and I've "gotten by" fine....though I suppose our circumstances are quite different....

It helps you get by in a lot of ways. Everyone in Gene's world drinks. It's madness not to.
