{A bit away from the main traffic of the plane, Diva appears sitting in a chair. She's dressed for a rehearsal, sitting primly in costume. Diva doesn't move at all, just stares ahead blankly. It's times like this that being called a 'doll' doesn't seem too far off. In the dated clothing and her perfectly beautiful features, she looks like she's made of porcelain rather than flesh and blood.}

[Nuzzles Diva's hand.] Oh, Diva, I am so sorry.

Of course. Losing someone...it is terrible, and very hard.

You are changing. I have noticed it ever since we met. But it is a good thing, Diva. It sounds strange to say, but when you feel sadness or pain at losing someone, it is a good thing. It means that you cared for them.

No one wants to be in pain. But pain is as much a part of life as happiness and pleasure.

[Is silent a moment.] Caring for someone...it is extremely difficult. It is painful, but it also brings us joy. And the memories of those people once we lose them, they can be quite painful as well. But...eventually, those memories become happy ones. You look back on the time you had with that person, and you are glad that it happened.

It is the same for you, Diva. I know that it hurts now...but the pain will not always be this bad. It will never quite go away, because after all, caring is still painful. But it will become bearable.

It is. It is very hard. But I think you can do it; you've been doing so well.

I think it is! Life is usually worth living.
