09- The aftermath always lacks that adrenaline

[Jack appears on the Plane, once again back to his usual immortal self. He looks much better than he did before; though he still looks somewhat tired, he seems a lot more rested now, the bandages are gone, his hands healed, and his clothes look as neat as usual.

He looks around the Plane, sighs, then sticks his hands in his pockets]
Is this the part where I apologize for going off the deep-end, or can I just say 'Promise I'm sleeping now' and pretend it never happened?

How can I? You can't expect me to sit around waiting now that I know how to fix it. Even if the Master does find us he won't have the chance to do anything. All it will do is increase our chances of remembering what's happened this year.

I can't drop it. My job is to protect people from alien threats, and now you're asking me to sit back and wait whilst one's destroying my entire planet.

It doesn't matter if I survive or not. If I die I'll just come back when it's over.

If I risk that it's my choice.
