[this is Gene. he is rather comfortably buried under a haphazard pile of blankets, one leg flung off to the side as he sprawls out along the sheets, mumbling a little as he slowly wakes. it was a nice sleep, filled with happy dreams of bagging the baddies, not to mention some good old apologetic sex with the missus after the whole drunken episode the other day. though, really...was she always that rough? he didn't remember her biting...

but no matter! it is morning and the Guv is rested and content and happily turns over on the bed, placing an arm around his wife's waist to pull her closer or himself, it doesn't matter, nuzzling at the back of her neck before opening groggy eyes to see -- ]

[Sam, however, cannot 'get the hell out of here' because that was his face hit by the Guv's sizable fist, backed up by the handle of his gun, and now he's dizzy and his nose is bleeding and he really hopes he didn't hear a cracking noise. Sam is just going to sit down here now, covering his face with his hands and, in a somewhat silly move, making sure that none of the blood gets on his sleeves or on the floor]
