010 - No Time like the Present

[Firo paces the plane, looking rather upset and very drunk. He's still got the bottle of Gimbus the Doctor gave him--good going, Doc--and every once in a while he takes a pull from it.]

How could he not... I mean, there has to be something. This can't just be... out of nowhere. It's not. A reason, a cause...

[Swig. He sways and nearly falls over. Yeah, Firo hasn't been this hammered in quite a while.]


[[OOC: Firo experiment, start! It's going to build gradually for the next few days, probably peaking on Friday afternoon or Saturday.]]

[Ohh, this does not a happy Firo make. He aims a punch at Ianto, misses, staggers and falls over. It's clear there's something more than too much alcohol wrong with him, though. He sort of half-curls up on himself and starts shivering.]

[Just sort of limp, now. The alcohol is already starting to get purged and fever is taking its place.] All of them. They're dead. I know it. But every time... I see them every time. Always different, looking at me.

[Grabs Ianto's wrist painfully tight, his eyes suddenly very bright and not quite sane.] It's always about this, isn't it? It's always about this. You never listen, but I'm telling you it's there.

The dragon! [Insane little giggle that doesn't sound like him at all.] Just wait, waiting, wanting to get its claws into me. It's sitting in the dark, but I can see the embers!
