[ Angela hasn't left the Plane much from the previous night. In fact, she discretely borrowed Annie's bathtub earlier, and vanished only long enough to get a dress from her closet in Altena. What determination she had last night to get her messages to her friends has faded, and in its place is a dazed and spacy look that is not very Angela-ish at all. All the drugs have finally hit her system and are doing their magic. ]

(Final experiment post! Angela'll be a mess very shortly, and will be mistaking characters for people she knows back home. Possible language, SD3 spoilers, and some violence may take place. Fun~!)

[Putting his arms around her.] Steady, s'okay, come on... [Bringing her to Ammy's forest and settling her on the grass, wrapping his coat around her.] I'll get you something to drink, some city juice--some water, okay?

No, don't-- [ She catches his wrist before he can poof. ] F-Firo. Please don't leave.

[Puts a hand to her cheek.] Okay. All right. Not going anywhere, promise. [He takes his hat gently.] I won't go anywhere, all right?

[He eases himself away and dips the hat into the stream and hurrying back to her before it drains through the cloth.] Here. [He helps her sit up and holds the hat up to her lips.]

[ She manages to swallow some of the water, but she makes a face. ] I have a feeling that won't stay down long...

[Rubs her back.] Then you'll puke it on up, and we'll get some more in you.

[ Angela gives him a glazed look, though she's not really looking at him. More over his shoulder. ] Do you know how many times I've thrown up already? It's like my insides are on fire...

[And now he would be putting an arm around her and hugging her against his chest.] It'll pass. Try a bit more.

[Water?]

[ Snuggle. ] Goddess, it better hurry and pass.

[She attempts to sip some of the water, but winds up attempting to cough up what she's already drank. She wriggles away, not wanting to throw up on him. ]

[Nope! No wriggling away. He helps her turn on her side in his lap so she's puking onto the grass, making a mental note to apologize to Ammy later.]

[ Well, it's just water, really. Angela doesn't have anything else left. She curls in his lap when she's finished, though, gritting her teeth. ] This has to stop...

But hey, Angie. [Rubs her back.] You know what this means? It means you're mom's really your mom. It means back home everything's okay.

[ She shivers and hiccups. ] It means I used magic on Koren...

[Can't say much to that, so he starts singing to her again instead.] Life is just a bowl of cherries. Don't take it serious; it's too mysterious. You work, you save, you worry so, but you can't take your dough when you go, go, go.

[ She knows it's Firo singing to her, and normally that would calm her... But she's seeing and hearing Duran singing, and well. She's trying not to laugh because her tummy hurts, but a couple giggles escape. ]

I didn't know you could sing. You'll have to let me actually hear you singing sometime.

It's probably a good thing you can't.

Can't be any worse than Duran.

[Well, then.] So keep repeating "It's the berries." The strongest oak must fall; the sweet things in life to you were just loaned, so how can you lose what you've never owned?

Life is just a bowl of cherries. So live and laugh, laugh and love, live and laugh at it all!

[Bringing the hat back up to see if she can manage some more water.] One of my favorites, that song.

It sounds pretty cheerful. And really weird hearing that in his voice.

[ She tries a bit of the water, but makes a face. Her stomach's still giving her trouble from before. ] Sorry... If I upset you with what I said before. I really thought you were him.

[EH? HMM? WHAT'S THAT, ANGELA? HE MUST HAVE SOMETHING IN HIS EAR.] Still feeling sick? I wonder if Maiza's got anything worth risking...

[ She nods. ] I'd rather not take anything. It already feels like there's something strange in me. The medicine Dino gave me before didn't seem to do anything, anyway.

Yeah. S' what I thought. [Frowny and thoughtful now.] There any way to purge your system? Like with magic and all?

If the squirt was here, she probably could help... [ She shakes her head. ] Stardust herbs should've helped if it was magic. Puipui grass if it was just poisoning.

[Trying to take her mind off things.] The squirt?

[ Taking her mind off things or keeping her from asking uncomfortable questions~? ] Carlie. She was our group's healer. She's a brat, but she's good at what she does.

[Both?] Ah, Carlie, yeah, the elf-kid.
