[the TARDIS appears on the Plane, holding a small book in hand. upon closer inspection, it's obvious the book is actually a journal of some sort, though when she opens it, it appears more to be computer than paper. she sits with it on the Plane, just plops down, and begins speaking to it, words appearing as she does so]

Kissing Rose Tyler is strangely pleasant. I do not fully understand why I did, or wanted to, or why she pleases me as she does, but I ... do not want to question it, either. The Doctor also seems to favour her. Perhaps that is why?

I have learned that it is acceptable to have more than one partner. The vampire told me, so I cannot be certain how truthful it is; perhaps I shall ask the Doctor to explain. But if it is true, then being with Rose Tyler should be acceptable, as would being with any others here in this place I like.

Today has been strangely productive. I am pleased.

Not really, no. I mean, I've had more than one, but that's just 'cause the people I'm with don't really mind. I think. As far as I know.

Then do you think the Doctor would mind if I had someone other than him?

We have been connected mentally since he stole me, and as such share a very intimate bond. I have brought him pleasure through our psychic connection since his youth, and he has often sought comfort in touching me. [a pause] I have never slept with him, but I did engage in intercourse with him through this body recently. I ... wanted him. To myself.

Er, you'd have to take it up with the Doctor, though. But it'd be a bit weird if he minded, considering. Then again, you're a whole different ballpark.

That is correct. It was ... pleasant. I should like to do such things again. You also enjoy such things?

He always seems to mind when others do things to me. And I care when others do things to him. Yet he always does things I disapprove of. Why is that, Rose Tyler?

I was referring more to the act of intercourse than with it being with the Doctor. I favour you, Rose Tyler, but I still do not approve of your relationship with him. He is mine.

[frowns] Is it acceptable to do as one wants when it hurts another who cares for you?

[Sigh] It doesn't work like that. This might sound harsh, but....the Doctor can do what he wants with who he wants, no matter how stupid it is; he doesn't have to listen to anyone. It's the same for anyone, really, even when it comes to sex. People cheat on other people, knowing that someone will get hurt. That's just the way it works. Relationships are complicated like that.

I see. [looks down] So even though it will hurt others ... he may and will do as he desires. I shall have to point this out to him the next time he grows angry with me for doing as I want. [glances up] Do you believe my relationship with the Doctor is complicated, Rose Tyler? Is mine with you, or with any others whom I favour?

Complicated? Probably. Ours is, I think, too, since you don't like my relationship with him, but we're still friends. I guess it really depends.

I suppose it must be, then. Relationships are still very ... foreign to me. I do not fully understand what they mean. They aren't anything like what I share with the Doctor, but that is all I've ever known.

Every one is different, too.
