[ Angela is on the plane, not in her pajamas, but her Grand Diviner outfit, sans giganto crown. She has her staff and her supply bag, which she is filling up from a larger bag. She's loading up on things that appear to look like scales and coins and claws and pots filled with different oils. The look on her face is murderous, she looks more like she's packing artillery than preparing for any kind of trip. She's certainly not resting, like she should be, since she's still flushed with fever and starting to look a little pale on top of that. She's also muttering rather angrily to herself. ]

I saw him, I know I saw him, why they won't believe me...

(Experiment time! Just the beginning, though, there's a few more days before she goes totally batshit. Woo~)

[ Angela's still stuffing her supply bag. She grabs a fist full of magic walnuts from the larger bag. She's certainly not as perky as usual. ]

Deathjester? [He grabs her by the shoulders, drawing her away from... the bag of nuts. Okaaay.] Look, easy, you're sick. Calm down.

[ Angela wriggles out of his grip. ] I'll rest when I've taken care of things. [ Little smile. ] I promise.

[Grabbing her again.] No! If this guy's as serious as you're saying, taking him on sick--yeah, you got this place now, but it's not the same. You're gonna get yourself hurt or killed or something.

If I don't go after him, I'll still die. And so will my mother and a lot of innocent people. [ She shakes her head. ] Firo, please. Let me go.

Nothin' doin'. Look, just stay here, then. Recover a bit, relax a while, get better. Nothing'll happen while you're gone, right?

[ Angela looks up, the angry look on her face softens, but she quickly avoids his eyes continues stocking up her bag. ]

The Deathjester is in Altena. Someone my friends and I fought a while back. I'm the only one who sees him for what he is.

The servants have been calling him Koren, but Koren's been missing since I came back from the Lampflower Forest. I think he's using Koren's soul to cover himself. But I know-- [ Grimace ] knew Koren, it wouldn't work on me.

I'll be all right. [ That lie comes out so awkwardly it almost hurts. ] I need to get to my mother before he does.
