Big deal. Th' stars ain't no different back home 'cept they're closer here. An' you don't see the colors much but that's from being on the ground and the sky's too far from the ground. I guess there's a point to 'em, but I don' see it. I'm not into that romance stuff like Missy is t' see anythin' here.

So this part of th' machine, right? Th' reason why I got dragged back? Not that I'm complainin' 'bout that, I jus' gotta know, alright? So I'm not feelin' like ditchin' this place for somethin' a lot more entertaining than a bunch of stars. I've got things to do and people to get in touch with. I can't be messing 'round here all th' time.

[sucks in his breath and stuffs his hands in his pockets]

Yeah... guess I do. You should see Carcasses. They're rebuilding it. An' the bandits are gettin' more an' more respectable.

That's funny, I am staying in Karkassas. [pronouncing it differently? sure.] There wasn't anything to rebuild...

[eyes him] Not Karkassas, Carcasses. An' it was all blown to shit an' back 'fore I died.

[snorts and leans back in his invisible chair]

Probably the same town but not jus' like I'm the same Wolfwood but not an' you're the same Stampede but not.

[brow furrowing] I wish I knew how this was possible. If this isn't a trick, then there's a whole other No Man's Land out there...

[finally downs the rest of his drink]

I don' even know how those twins got me here, let alone brought me back. I was so full o' holes not even you could save me.

[makes a face, staring into his glass] Shit, Spikey, none o' it makes sense.

Them and that Meredith lady must be powerful to be able to do all of this. They told me that this plane is run off the energy of the universe! I can't even picture that.

There's a few people here trying to figure it out. I'm sure you'll run into them sooner or later.

...There's gotta be a lot of stuff out there in th' universe this place's built off o' if that's the truth. I can't see this as small by any stretch.

My gut tells me it won't work. They'd be better to focus that energy on other matters.

You never know. Anything they can find out to help could make a difference.

As for that, I have no idea if this place even has an end. They also told me that we can bring anything we want here, no matter the size.

I suppose it can't hurt...

It doesn't look like it does. [quizical look then thinks] So if I brought th' Punisher up here an' fire it off, think it'll hit anythin'?

[starts wiping away what of it drips into his face and down to his neck] It was just the way you said it!
