[Donna appears, holding up a jar. It should be noted she looks pretty proud of herself. The jar is making a low, angry buzzing noise]

I caught it! It took all morning to catch the little bugger but I got'em! Knew I would. [now she's talking to the jar, which contains...a bee] Don't suppose you'd want to come back to Earth with me, would you? Maybe I should give you a proper name, Mister Bee...

[gives a start but turns to face her] I dunno. Think he looks like an Arthur?

[Takes a step backwards, smirking] Maybe... Is it definitely a boy?

I dunno. Depends on the sort of bee it is. I can't exactly tell. It's probably a bloke bee. [holding the jar up now, trying to figure it out]

Kind of hard to tell isn't it?

It's either a Arthur or a Fred.

I sort of like Fred. I had this boyfriend once named Fredrick and he was a bit like a bee.

My great Grandfather was called Fred... Though apparently he was pretty miserable.

Really? My Gramps is named Wilfred! He's not miserable, though. Sorry to hear that.

Cool, I've always liked the name Wilfred.

Nah... Didn't really affect me, he died years before I was born... Though apparently he had every right to be miserable.

Me too! All right, it's decided. His name is Wilfred, Fred for short.

Oh, that's still sad, though. I'm glad I know my Gramps.

So! What are you planning to do with that bee?

[she gives a nod and decides to let that slide for now]

I dunno yet! I could take him back to Earth, I guess, but maybe alien bees and Earth bees don't get along. He looks like a normal enough bee, though. But I could just ask the Doctor for some sort of...special bee keeping thing for him.

[Looks very grateful]

I thought that, too! So maybe he's just an Earth bee that got kidnapped or lost.

He's one very lost bee then.

They have, really. If he really is an Earth bee, I think it'd be one of the more normal things around here.

Well, the plane is pretty weird but I time travel for a living. Do lots of running and saving aliens and stopping aliens, all that.

[Gapes, just a little]

How did you manage that? [Sounds just a tiny bit jealous]

Through the Doctor. He's got this ship called the TARDIS. Not much to look at but you appreciate her after a while. And she's fantastic! She can go anywhere!

Sounds... [Takes a deep breath in and looks away]

[Looks back with a bright smile] So it's just you and him then?
