Attention everyone! It has come to my attention that the need for solid detective work is at hand. Obviously there's a very strange mystery to be solved here.

Therefore, I'm looking for strong and fun people to join the Coil Dennō Detective Agency. We currently have eleven members and growing. You'll work hard but have fun, too. And together we can solve this mystery.

Something that would have brought them to the city?

Checked the poor houses, checked the transitory jobs. Nothin' there. No, this isn't a typical murder spree. [he's gotta hand it to her, she thinks things through] The killer's using his head, and those foreign scum don't do that. Bunch of paddies or chinks or turbans, not a one would go about it like this. [nods slowly] Right. All right. [peeks in the file, biting her lip] Okay. What about...checking the weapon? It could have come from inside the city, maybe from the black market, too.

We were able to trace the sale back to a bloke who deals in certain, ah... [how to explain dominatrix sex toys to an 11-year-old?] Well, 'specialty items.' Roughed him up a bit, got a couple names. But nothing concrete, and we still don't have a killer. So. Any more bright ideas there, luv?

[bites her lip and now she's just mostly frustrated] He's pretty good then. Damn it... [holds the file to her chest] Well I'll keep working on it! I'll figure it out! But I think in the meantime, the leads are still okay. Maybe if there's some follow up...like following some of the people or checking their homes...

[scoffs] You from Hyde, too, girlie? That's the same nancy ass shit Tyler suggests. 'Surveillance' and 'undercover.' 's all bullshit if you ask me.

That's how we do it in Japan, too. And it works! I've done surveillance work. If it solves the case, then what does it matter?

Because it's nancy ass bullshit, that's why. Sneaking around like we don't belong, it's bleedin' humiliating. If I know I've got the scum, I go in an nick him. Phyllis can do the paperwork later.

But then you can catch people doing things they were trying to hide!

Kicking the door in works just as well as is much more appealing.

[actually thinks that sounds pretty cool] So you bust down the door and ambush them?

Kick 'em down, pull our guns and nick the bastards in the act. Like I said: Phyllis can do the blasted paperwork later. I catch baddies and make sure them scum get off the streets of my City as fast as possible.

[almost points out he's way too arrogant but has an idea instead] Then that's what you should do! Conduct a series of raids on the homes of all the leads.
