I was - 1973 - but 2006! The textile factory, it's - it just turns into 2006. I was - my mobile! I have my mobile back! [isn't cuddling the mobile phone. Really!] And my PC and satellite television and it's all there and the rest of Manchester is '73 but there's that little, little... pocket of 2006...

Not everything. Just a section there - the section of the textile. So I haven't woken up, it must be... I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm getting closer to waking up.

I got you a pair of glasses! I think they'll be linked up to Manchester's network but I'm not sure. If they're not, we can probably fix that.

It's pretty easy. Just pretend the keyboard is there and things like that. I think you can do it. And I'll get you a badge from Mega-baa. You're number eleven.

Sure! Easy enough to turn on. The tiny switch on the handle. Put them on and it'll probably tell you it's loading and ask you about the proper network.

Try Manchester's. And if that doesn't work, Daikoku's should. I'm not sure what Meredith put them for...

[blinks a bit, and then looks at Fumie] Do I type it in on the, uh, invisble keyboard, or do I say it out loud?

Verbal commands work but you should get used to gestures. Wherever you want the keyboard to display, just tap it. Then it will display the keys and you can just type. The screen will display above it.

Right. [tries it out] Manchester, right? [types that in~] And now...?

All right! Good! Now the Space maps have to update since this is their first use. It'll configure to the surroundings but it might be a little out of date. [grins slightly] Not sure if it'll be 1973, 2006 or 2026. You'll see when it finishes loading. But we can customize it anyway.

[peeks over to see his screen] And after we do this, I can show you how to jump to Daikoku's network and then you can see my city. I want to see what Manchester looks like.

[pauses, and then stares] Well, that's changed around a bit. I don't think it's 2006, and it's definitely not 1973.

Mhm! Just pull up a screen on the running specs. Uhm, you can do that verbally, it's easier.
