[leans closer to take a better look at it too, invading personal space as usual] A ring? What is a ring, gero?! Is it a weapon?! Nee nee is it a weapon? Hm hm hm? Or a toy, gero? It came from the sky, gero, and kicked right here! [winces and rubs his head again]

[Leans back just a little, but lets Amane see it.] No, it's... jewelry. You wear it. [lays his free hand out] Let me see your hand. I'll show you.

From the sky? Ah... you weren't human like you are now, were you?

Some people use them as symbols to tell other people that they're engaged or married, but only if it's on a certain finger. [here, he holds up his own hand and wiggles his ring finger a little to demonstrate]

So someone dropped the ring into your pond...?

They are really shiny, gero! [proceeds information, takes a few minutes as he eyes his own finger, and Ryotarou's...] Ah, let me try, let me try, gero! [and he takes off the ring and pulls it Ryotarou's hand, on the finger he wiggled!] Hah, like this right, right? Married? Ah ah, I know that one gero! [watches as he pulls it off, confused, blinkblink!] This tiny, shiny thing means that much, gero? Then then then why aren't you wearing one, hm? [attempts to put it back!] Aah, yes! School is important, and getting married can make people happy, as long as you've found the right person.
