[and here too is a Misaki, looking a bit worn, still in her PANDORA-chic style white scrubs and sporting a couple bandages in odd places, but otherwise apparently healthy.]

People missing. Lots of people missing. Apparently the Twins are involved somehow, and the missing persons have been tossed into other realities. At least, that's what I've been able to glean.

Right. well. [rubs his nose and sighs] I'm gonna guess the Twins are involved. I want names and descriptions of every person missing and I want them before tea time.

[will never in a million years admit that she's sort of pleased to be working with him. She's definitely pleased to be doing something that doesn't involve wires or suction cups. She vanishes and reappears with a notebook and pens--one of the few luxuries the good Doctors allow.] Right. [And now there is a Misaki bellowing in a voice that would make a parade-ground sergeant proud.] ALL RIGHT. ANYONE WHO HAS LOST SOMEONE, ANYONE WHO SUSPECTS THAT SOMEONE THEY KNOW MIGHT BE MISSING, ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING THESE OCCURRENCES, FORM A LINE AND START TALKING.

[His glare grows a little darker now, and his right hand begins to twitch a few times. All bad signs] How about you take those questions and shove them up your ass?

I can tell they're going to be best of friends] Better yet, how about you answer them and I won't shove my foot so far up yours you'll be tasting the bottom of my loafers for the next week?

[Oh great. Jackie half smiles at that response, though his glare is still that same kind of dark. These two are going to be just super together.] Better and bigger men have tried. And in the end, there wasn't enough left of them to fill a dixie cup.

[Gene needs to learn to play nice with other kids in the sand box, seriously] Name's DCI Gene Hunt and I don't walk away from murdering scum like you. [have a swing at your face!]

[And Jackie doesn't move, and POW...he's staggering backwards from that particular blow. Though even after regaining his balance, he continues to stare away a few moments longer. Then he slowly turns his head back, just enough to glare at Gene. Oh, and now his eyes are glowing a violent shade of amber.]

DCI Gene Hunt. I'll remember that name.

And a word of advice. Start paying attention to your shadow.

[pfft] I've heard scarier things come out my arse after a night out for Indian. [he's also used to dealing with the Master, so your glowy eyes do nothing, Jackie] And you'd best remember me, you little shit.
