[He crooks his finger, gesturing for Juliet to get closer, though he leans forward a little more, looking as conspiratorial as possible.] Regalia are only for people who don't suck at Air Treck. I'm not the Sky King yet. And when I become it, no one will be my slave. I don't want that title so that I can lord over others. I want that title so that I can prove something to myself, and to the people who don't believe in themselves.

[He steps closer to Juliet and stares him straight in the eyes.]

All that talk about Kings and Regalia... You don't have one damn clue about the sacrifices people make for Air Treck. You'd better watch out, or you'll spoil yourself too fat to fly one day.

Sacrifice is having everything ripped from you, and having to go on despite that. Sacrifice is putting every ounce of your heart and soul into something you know has to succeed without absolute certainty it will. Sacrifice is both seizing and letting go. Sacrifice is watching your heroes die at your feet for your future. Sacrifice is shedding all of your old feathers you used to depend on... and painfully growing your own.

I don't know you. Maybe you're a nice guy, probably not. But I know this. I will never let some stuck-up, ignorant asshole like you think for one second that he can take the sky away from anybody else.
