[and the Master appears on the plane with a book, idly flipping over the pages before putting it away in one of his pockets]

It's absolutely appalling how busy I've been of late - but such is the way of things. No one has died again since I've last been, hm? I'd hate find out that some of the more interesting inhabitants have once again met an untimely demise...

You could have a bloody rain cloud and have more than you've got now. Why a book? Hoping to educate your cats?

I was starting out small, Mr. Hunt. It'd be idiotic to try for something massive without actually practicing and getting a handle on things first.

So what do you plan on doing when you've gotten finished with your nancy romance novels?

Eventually... I hope to be done with these bloody cheetahs.

[thinks this over for a bit, then nods, because he figures he should confirm whether or not the Master has a new ability up his sleeve or not] Fine, show me what you've got.

[the Master grins and repeats something he's done to you once before, Gene; which is drag you right down into his reality. it is, after all, where he's been experimenting]

Hand the book here. It's easier to do it with a base material.

[he hates it when you touch him, Master, let alone drag him to Land of the Pussies, and if I put any more thinly-veiled sexually suggestive wording into this, you're gonna kill me]

Don't do that. [still, hands over the book] The hell you planning?

[awwww, but I love the suggestive wording~ anyway, the Master takes the book]

Watch and learn, Mr. Hunt.

[and the Master begins to focus on the book, carefully turning it in his hands. he's no expert at this, but he knows how to do it; how to change one material into another with pure will and force alone. it takes a bit, but eventually the book begins to transmogrify, going from paper and ink to glass and whisky. when he finishes, he holds it out to Gene]

Interesting, wouldn't you say?

[stares at him, nonplussed] I'm not drinking that.

[the Master shrugs] Your loss, then. [he then removes the lid or whatever from the bottle and takes a drink] It's as real as the whisky you keep on your person, Mr. Hunt.

Difference being, my whisky didn't come from a bloody book.

As if it makes any difference towards the result.

You obviously don't drink much, then.

It tastes exactly the same as if it had gone through the whole natural process. Not to mention, based on the fact I'm over 900 years old, I've easily drank more than you ever have or will.

The whole natural process don't involve scum like you handling it, not to mention it's all in the bloody stock, not the process itself. That probably tastes like piss -- which I'm sure you've had plenty opportunity to try, you old fart.

[the Master rolls his eyes] I assure you, Mr. Hunt, this is the same as what you drink in every way.

Then you can keep it, seeing as you've got piss all here.
