{Diva is sitting in a chair, legs crossed and martini in hand, and obviously in the middle of a conversation. Though, depending on who you are, that conversation may be of little importance in comparison to what she's wearing. Diva is wearing a long black robe, thigh highs, and matching underwear. At least the robe's top is conveniently placed to cover her chest, but otherwise, that's it. You can guess what Diva was doing before.}

---to kill me. So he should die. It's what I've...{But she trails off as she realizes where she is, taking a sip of her martini instead}

...Ah~ Ne, that's really bad timing. And today was already a strange day.

{Bites her lip} But...

It's not the same as if you tried to kill me. {Brings a hand up to her neck very delicately} Solomon knows how to kill me. If I were just a little bit slower, then I wouldn't be here at all now!

[didorothy]

But how can you change if you decide murder is the answer?

[How can Sam prove to himself that you can change if that's what you choose?]

[madamemoiselle]

...But what else can I do? Solomon...I used to love Solomon.

He chose Saya. Enough to where he would kill me, his Queen, to protect her. Why is that? After so long, Solomon betrayed me. I thought that he loved me too, but...somehow, now he's like Martin.

[didorothy]

Are you... He didn't hurt you, did he? You're all right?

[madamemoiselle]

Well, he cut me a little, but it healed just fine. {By little, she means gaping gash, but!} I'll have to eat again, though. I ate yesterday, but I lost a lot of blood. Amshel gave my a blood transfusion, so that's a little better, but I wouldn't be able to avoid him again, I think.

[didorothy]

Then I'll pick you up something from the Twins.

[madamemoiselle]

Well...you don't need to. Amshel already has that waiting for me at home.

[didorothy]

Diva. What's that supposed to mean?

[madamemoiselle]

{Curls her toes and takes a sip of her martini} That's supposed to mean that Amshel brought me a corpse.

[didorothy]

[stares at her for a bit, and then runs his hand through his hair. Oh, the angst!] Diva... I can't... How can I help you if you don't...

[lets out a sigh]

I'll talk to you about this later. I can't do this right now.

[madamemoiselle]

{Diva is clinging to Sam before the martini glass crashes against the ground} That's not what I meant! I meant that Amshel brought it to me, I didn't ask him to or anything. I was going to get that blood from those Twins.

I didn't kill anyone!

[didorothy]

But you don't care that someone died.

[stiiill, not leaving]

[madamemoiselle]

{Diva is quiet for a while at that, unsure what to say} Am I supposed to say 'I'm sorry'? I don't...value life the way you do. I could pretend that I cared, like I'm supposed to, but I thought that Sam wouldn't like that.

...I don't want to be a doll for Sam too.

[didorothy]

I don't want you to pretend, no. I...

You're not a doll. People aren't dolls. It's just.. some days it's harder than others. And the way things've been, it's one of those days.

[madamemoiselle]

Sam is one of the first people to treat me like a person. Josef, he told me, the blood flowing through my veins was proof that I was alive. But the last words that Josef ever said to me were "puppet girl, your strings are mine".

I...really believed in him. But he was treating me like a doll that whole time anyways. So, because of things like that, I know what Sam means. I want to say what Sam wants to hear because it would make you happier, but I know that at the same time, that's not what Sam wants to hear too. If it's been 'one of those days', then maybe Sam should look forward to tomorrow instead.

[didorothy]

[glances over Diva] Who were you just with, anyway?

[madamemoiselle]

Amshel. Why?

[didorothy]

I wanted to know what [who] you were doing.

[holds her hand]

I should go, Diva. This case needs me. Don't... please don't kill anyone. No one else needs to die.

[madamemoiselle]

I guess that's kind of obvious, though. {Diva holds his hand back gently before looking back to him}...Then...I won't. I promise.
