A goddess? My, my, then this place is really an interesting one to capture a God. However, I'm afraid I don't really believe in Gods. There is only one person who is anything resembling a God to me, and even he is mortal enough.

{But he stares at his fingers idly} How troublesome. I don't really like to reveal my strings before its needed.

Destroy? Is that really something you ought to say? If I get bored one day, what if I remember that and decide to make the people here my puppets to see what the 'Goddess' would do, or if it could destroy me at all.
