Well, that would be a part of what I am, unfortunately~ I can only be awake for three years at a time before I have to sleep for thirty. And before you ask, I'm 173.

Knightmare Frames would probably be the most notable. They are agile mobile robots powered by pilots for war.

Oh, how neat! Well, not the war part, really, but...Oh, does that mean there's a war in your world now?

That would be because I'm a Chiropteran. But the closest thing to that that humans have created would be the idea of a vampire. I drink human blood to live, you see, but sunlight, garlic, stakes, all of those silly things are...well, silly. ♥

Chiropteran? I can safely say this is the first I have heard of them. If you drink blood to live - why is it you have to sleep?

Several? My, your world must be very hard, then! Wars are never a fun thing...Oh especially when you're a part of them! Then its really awful. Just death, death, death everywhere. It's pointless!

As it should be. There's only sister and I that are pure-blooded Chiroptera. There's our Chevalier too, but they're humans that have taken some of our blood, so they aren't the same. We're government secrets, after all. Like in this time, it turns out that I 'belond' to the United States, but it's really Le Cinq Fleches that are in charge of where my blood and power goes~

Ne, but I really have no idea! Since it didn't happen in the beginning, I guess it has something to with my Chevalier. Like, I have to drink some of their blood right after a wake up or I lose my memories from the past times I've been awake. Luckily that's never happened to me, but it happened to Saya this time.

{Simply} You're wrong. Wars are pointless. It's just a series of very lovely words given to the public to try and make them feel that their own people are dying for a purpose that isn't the selfish greed of politicians! Every war is for land, money, or power. Or maybe all of them, really.

Oh, no, I don't mind it. But, well, that part is the one that no one seems to believe. Obviously, I don't remember it, but Amshel said that Saya and I, our mother was a fossil. They found her in Iceland, and when they cut her open, two cocoons came back to life when Amshel's blood spilled on them. So that's Saya and I! But before us...Well, who knows.

And what of those that are fought for a way of life or to protect those that need protection? Fight for those who literally cannot do so for themselves? [looks up, his eyes seeming to look beyond what can be seen for a moment]

When the strong oppress the weak, sometimes you have to fight back.

Like the Vietnam War, you mean? Being oppressed, well, that's a little different, but you know, the people that start those kinds of things, it may start out very nice and idealistic, but, ne, it doesn't stay that way for long. Those people, well, they realize that they have power. It's something intoxicating, and just like that, rebellion turns to greed, don't you know? {Smiles} But Lelouch certainly has an opinion on it.

I suppose so! But after that, Saya was the one that got picked to be raised normally. I got locked up in a tower to be experimented on, actually. It was awful~

The which war? I have never heard of it.

It depends on just who and what they're fighting for. If anyone or anything threatened my sister, I doubt there is much I wouldn't do to keep her safe. If it was just some random on the street I probably wouldn't do much.

Ah, really? Different worlds, I guess. But there was the Russian Revolution, World War I and II, and the Vietnam War.

{Smiles} Well, I guess that much is true. Families are a very nice thing, it seems like. Very...loving, I guess.

Mmhmm~ Joel kept me locked up in that tower and experimented on me for 50 years before sister let me out. Nasty things too. I got injected with all kinds of chemicals, got body parts taken from me while I was still alive, and the conditions were almost unlivable.

Well, not just blood! I can taste a few other things, like strawberries, curry, alcohol, spicy things...It seems like things with a very 'strong' flavor I can taste, but otherwise, not really.
