[So uh....Guess who shows up...still in bed. That's riiiiiight~ Mu's still half-asleep. Come bother him. Please!]

[Amaterasu has never experienced a Western-style bed before. It is comfy! So now she's actually starting to fall asleep as well.]

[She just shifts her weight a little and rests her head on his knees.]

[Shifts again and cracks one eye open. She smiles at Mu.] It seems that it's even possible to arrive here in one's sleep.

[Grins at him.] You make a nice pillow, though!

[Teasingly,] You should always be flattered when a goddess pays you a compliment~

[She rolls over onto her back and waves her paws in the air.] Did you dream of this place? Is that how you arrived here?

[identity profile] shinypaws.livejournal.com 2008-06-03 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Ah...I suppose I rarely dream as well, since I rarely actually need sleep. Though dreams can be rather entertaining. [Contemplative headtilt.] They've been a bit off lately, though.

How unpleasant. It's astounding, the amount of seemingly normal things that this place has an effect on.

[identity profile] shinypaws.livejournal.com 2008-06-03 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
It is probably so.

[Curious look.] It is. What has been bothering you?

[identity profile] shinypaws.livejournal.com 2008-06-03 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
[Long silence.] I thought, perhaps, that I was the only one hearing it. I hear it when I pass near the Twins' shop, and every time I dream. [Pauses.] I hear it here as well, faintly.

[She nods.] It grates on the nerves. Like a mosquito you can't find, or an itch at that spot you can't reach behind your ears.

Indeed...I tend to favor the sound of nature over the sound of machinery.

...That woman from before...she said, "Welcome to the Machine." Odd...

It's all very mysterious. I assume the answers will reveal themselves as time goes on, though.
