[Amaterasu appears with a burst of light and a howl like a dog in pain.]

No! It's back! It's all back! Shinshu is a cursed zone again, Sakuya's guardian saplings are failing, and I can smell Yami's taint on the wind!

But how is this possible? Yami is defeated, dead, gone from Nippon. Yet his demons are roaming the countryside again, as if they never left! I cannot even move past Shinshu to find out if the curse truly affects all of Nippon...

How is this possible?

Mu! [Bounds toward him, scattering flowers everywhere, her ears back.] It's as if everything I've done never happened! Yami is back and Nippon is falling into darkness once more...

[Lays a hand on her head gently] How do you mean?

[She leans against his hand with a tiny whine.] The world has returned to the state it was in when I awakened. Cursed zones, demons...and Sakuya's guardian saplings are beginning to fail. It is all exactly as it was before!

I did, only recently. After hundreds of years of his reign I was at last able to defeat him. I thought I had defeated him for good, but... [Sad and worried goddess is sad and worried D:]

Oh, Angela! Yami has returned to my world, but it should have been impossible! How has this happened??

Yami? A monster of some sort? [ Angela pets Amaterasu gently, trying to comfort her. ]

[Likes the pets and her tail wags a bit feebly.] The Lord of Darkness, the source of all demons and curses. Nippon almost fell to him not long ago, but I was at last able to defeat him. Which is why he should not be able to return now! And yet the world is once again in the state it was when I first awakened...

[Hurries over] What happened? Are you alright?

[Ears drooping.] Oh, Shun...my world, it's as it was when I first awakened. Everything I've done has been for naught! How could this have happened?

[Pets her] I..I think it might have something to do with this place. We defeated Hades but then he came back and he wasn't suppose to be able to yet...

I feared it might be something like that. [Growls a bit in frustration.] I would go to defeat him right away, but I cannot even make it past Shinshu Field and Hana Valley.

I fear for my friends. The Ark and Waka have disappeared...I can only hope that he made it to the Celestial Plain. And Issun...I have no idea where Issun is. [Small whine.]

Firo, it is terrible! Yami has returned, though it should have been impossible...Nippon is dying again, and I can make no move to save it!

Demons? [Wolfwood frowns and carefully looks her over, his expression tightening at the corners of his mouth] I 'pose they would com back. They usually do.

[Bounds toward him, ears back, but stills scattering flowers like usual.] But that is just the thing! The last of them should have disappeared as soon as I defeated Yami. He was the source of all demons and curses--and he should not have been able to return!

Jack Harkness! [Bounds toward him, leaving flowers in her wake.] Yami...he is the Lord of Darkness, the source of all demons and curses in my world. I defeated him, but he has somehow returned...though it should not be possible!
