[Have a Misaki. And a swimming pool. Because she really didn't feel like going home, and would prefer to avoid awkward questions and unpleasant realizations as long as possible. In denial? Certainly not.

She breaks the surface with a gasp, her expression one of calm enjoyment, before striking out for the far end of the pool in long, even strokes.]

[And Amaterasu comes walking across your pool, Jesus-style, sniffing at the water. Lily pads sprout in the water where she's stepped.]

What strange water! What is it that makes it smell so odd? [Laps up a little water and makes a face at the taste.] Heavens, what a taste. And yet it is safe to swim in??

[She jerks, flounders and starts coughing, gagging a few times before making it to the wall. And then she just sort of... stares.] You're a bit different than the hyena.

Goodness, I'm sorry if I startled you! I was just so intrigued by the arrival of so much water. [She trots over to the wall near Misaki (leaving lily pads) and steps onto the dry floor, shaking out her paws.] What exactly is a hyena?

[Just...watching from the pool edge, halfway between incredulity and sheer happiness, because XOMG Misaki in a bathing suit. He's in a much better mood than before.]

[Indy!Dino wanders over after he hears the splashing and watches for a while]

[what's this? So much water? And a scantily-clad lady? Vash wanders up to do some staring, but he's more surprised about the water right now than her] Misaki?...

[Doesn't notice him until her second lap, when her hand touches his foot instead of the wall. She frowns up at him.] How long have you been there?

[Drags her hair away from her face as she surfaces; she didn't have time to get her swim cap. And hello, there's a Dino.]

You know, it's more fun if you're actually in the water.

[Swooshes out of the water, blowing drops happily from the fringe of bangs that hangs into her face.] Damn, that feels good.

[grins, kneeling down next to the edge] It sure looks like it!

Akigo? You look... much better.

[Grins at her.] Long enough, I expect.

Probably. But pools aren't really my thing. Too many bad memories.

[And no, she isn't quite sure what to make of that statement, so have a face.]

[Crosses her arms on the pool legs and lays her head on them, looking up at him while she swishes her legs in the water.] Bad memories?

[He's asking to be shot :|] I like your bathing suit.

Let's just say my tutor had very odd ideas about teaching me how to swim.

[smiles and nods] You must be, too? I heard about what happened.

[Jack spots the swimming pool and comes closer. When he sees it's Misaki swimming a grin appears on his face; he doesn't say anything, though, just stands at the edge of the pool, waiting for her to notice his presence]

[She surfaces, smooths her hair away from her face--and spots Jack.]

Is every man here a voyeur?

Ah... yes. I'm rather glad you weren't there, actually. It wasn't pleasant.

[Treads water.] Well, you want to try learning again?

[Grins down at her, crouching down] To be fair, I spotted the pool before I saw you in a bathing suit. The latter is just the reason I stuck around.

[...no, he is asking for this.

She levers herself up, grabs onto his shirt front, and yanks him into the pool.]

It's... an animal. A dog, sort of. There's one around somewhere. It talks.
