[A white wolf comes trotting onto the Plane, grass and flowers sprouting everywhere she steps, though they quickly dissolve back into nothing. She comes to a stop and looks around once before sitting down.]

Not the Celestial Plain, certainly. [Brow wrinkles in a wolfish frown.] And no trick of Waka's, either. This sort of thing is beyond him.

[She is quiet for a moment, surveying the stars with a discomfited look in her eyes.]

This place smells strange.

Pleasure to meet you, Shun! I am Amaterasu. [Considers him for a moment.] It is, I think. You smell of light and goodness. What I find interesting is that I also smell darkness in you, though the darkness is not yours.

Amaterasu? Like the goddess? Anyway, it's nice to meet you!

[Looks down] You can smell something like that?

[Laughs.] Indeed, quite like the goddess.

[Steps closer to him, leaving a temporary trail of flowers in her wake.] Ah, it is nothing to be ashamed of, young one. There is not a soul in existence that does not have some darkness in it. And as I said, this darkness is not yours.

[Doesn't really think anything of it. He know a Saint called Aphrodite and a Freya after all...]

[Smiles at her] I just though the Twins had managed to seal all of the darkness away. I guess I'll never really be free of Hades...

[Fortunately she's not the "bow to me!" kind of goddess~]

[She presses her nose to the back of his hand.] Darkness may be sealed, but it is never fully gone. The world would be too bright a place without it. Still! I do not think you need to worry about this particular darkness anytime soon. It is quite faint.

But tell me, who is this Hades you speak of?

[Pets her without really thinking about it. :\] That's some relief.

Hades is the Greek god of the underworld. I was suppose to be his vessel. [Added the Greek part because he figures Ammy is Japanese and wouldn't know that. :\]

[She likes the pets! Her tail is wagging now.]

Ah...a god of the underworld. They do tend to be quite pushy. And melodramatic, I've found. But I am not familiar with "Greek," and I have never met this Hades myself. A god of another world, then?

Greece is a country, and that's were the term 'Greek' comes from, because Hades was worshiped there. He was very...pushy.

Probably. I think everyone here is from different worlds.

Greece! No, I have certainly never heard of Greece. And all from different worlds, is it...very intriguing. How is it that this place can accomplish such a thing?

The Twins are the ones who created this place, so you should probably ask them how it works. I heard it's suppose to be part of some sort of experiment though.

Perhaps I will. I wish to meet these creatures who are capable of pulling a goddess out of her world.

I heard about the experiment. Is the nature of this experiment known?

[Shakes his head] I don't think anyone really knows much about what the Twins are doing. Most of the time they just leave us alone, but sometimes they do things. I heard the unleashed a bunch of monsters at one point and they made everyone switch realities not that long ago.

[Is quiet as she listens to Shun.] To have such power...perhaps they are gods as well. [Looks away.] Or perhaps only playing at it.

Whatever they are,they shouldn't be playing with people like this.

No indeed. No one has the right to play so carelessly with life and death. I shall have to have a talk with them.

But all in good time! This place might smell strange, but it is quite beautiful here, and I do always enjoy meeting new people.

It is really nice here. You can see so many stars, and all of them are so close!

So they are! I rarely see them so close. Several of my fellow gods and goddesses were living in the stars for a good amount of time not long ago.

Really? [Has pretty much noticed that he's talking to a goddess, but he lives with one and stuff so he isn't one to get overawed] The gods and goddess on your world live in the stars?

Well...not usually. Something happened a some time ago that forced many of the gods to hide within the constellations. I summoned them once again and now many of them reside within me.

[That is interesting to Shun] Inside you? How does that work?

In my world the gods are suppose to live on Mount Olympus. They come down sometimes but they have to either take mortal form or...[He pauses for a moment before continuing on] or posses someone.

The gods I speak of are the Brush gods, and they are a part of me, you see. On the Celestial Plain we all had our individual forms, but in the mortal realm they exist within me and lend me their powers.

Mount Olympus, is it? It sounds rather similar to the Celestial Plain--a home for gods and Celestial Beings. [She shakes herself off.] Now really, even gods don't have the right to toy with people in that way. It is not my place to interfere in the doings of other gods, but I might have to have some words with this Hades if I ever meet him.

Brush gods? I haven't heard of them before.

[Thinking of Pandora and everything Ikki had him about her] Hades seems to like toying with people.

There are thirteen of them--well, technically fifteen, though the Monkey Brothers like to think of themselves as one being--and each one rules over a certain Celestial Brush technique. These techniques are what give me my powers.

[Snorts, then sits down and starts scratching her chin, dog-style.] Not befitting of a god, not at all.

That's really interesting. I didn't know gods could do that.

Hades doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks. He's the one that keeps picking fights with Athena.

I imagine many gods can't. The Brush Gods are special, I suppose. [She chuckles.] They can be a bit of a handful.

The more I hear about Hades, the more he seems to remind me of Yami.
