[it's a crumbling bit of stone and sitting on the edge of it is Wolfwood, a bottle of Wild Turkey in one hand and a bloody piece of paper in the other. he looks down at the paper, snarls, crumples it and tosses it before taking a long drink from the bottle. Setting it down he digs out his cigarettes, lits up and inhales, leaning forward and frowning. He doesn't move after that, the smoke curling around his head, and his expression cold.]

[Staring at the bloody ball of paper.] Did something happen?

Bad day?

[ This will be Angela, plopping down beside him ]

Looks like something's bothering you, Father.

Yeah, something happened alright.

[snorts] Understatement o' th' hour, kid.

[glances over at her and takes a swig of alcohol] A lot o' things bother me, some just harder than others.

[Growls at being called 'kid', but he's curious] What happened?

[Sits down nearby, watching Wolfwood carefully.]

What happened?

I'm pretty sure that paper isn't usually supposed to be that colour.

[pops onto the Plane, still feathery (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v65/scyllaadell/Trigun/Manga/Max7TrigunMVol5ch5-05.jpg) and looking faintly worried]

Wolfwood? There you are! It's been hours!

Anything you want to talk about? We sheep are good at listening, too.

[takes a deep breath of smoke for the first time since he lit up] Yh' wrong choice.

'Nother gun fight. It got bad this time.

I don't wanna burden your pretty shoulders.

Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure I ain't gonna pick it up again.

Sorry. [doesn't look at him and takes another swig of alcohol] I needed t' get away.

Oh. [wanders closer to him, just looking both him and the rock over for a moment] Bad day, huh?

[smells of gunpowder under the smell of alcohol and cigarettes and there's blood on his hands] You can say that.

[stands next to him, frowning faintly] Wolfwood... what happened?

There was a fight. I won. [he grind out the smoke and rubs his face with his free hand] Wish th' hell I didn't.

[Doesn't have much experiance with guns, but knows what fights are like] A lot of peopled died?

Not as much as it could've been, but... [shrugs]

Why was there a fight in the first place?

Th' usual sort o' thing. Bandits scaring people, people scared do stupid shit, ya know?

Yeah. I've seen what happens when people get scared. [Tries not to remember the people who have been terrified of him]
